BBWWS - Flash sale

I'd be asking them why..did you just buy BBWWS tickets or annual passes as well as maybe it's to do with the names putting on them :confused3

I've bought I don't know how many concert tickets, museum tickets and only last week a ticket for the Foire de Paris all paid for by Visa and I've never been asked for anything at a later date.

Send a mail via the website if do contact them as opposed to replying directly to the email incase it's a phishing attempt (though I doubt it as they would be asking for all yourcard numbers plus the 3 on the back)

I think it is genuine as I found this in the terms and conditions

5.2 bis-Application for Identity (IDCB):
We may ask you to email or call for more information on the identity of the buyer (identity card) and identity of the holder of the credit card that has been used for payment, depending on the amount of your order and the address of the buyer

plus the contact details on the email all match those on the website and the email clearly states my order number. As you rightly said if it was phishing it wouldn't be asking me to cover up the majority of the card number. I think I will send them what they want but make sure I cover up my passport number aswell just to be safe. It does say that this depends on the amount of the order and I ordered 9 tickets so it was quite a large amount.

Thanks Carrie Cat, I bought tickets after reading your thread, and I'm delighted to get such a bargain! We weren't planning to go at all til we saw your info. I've arranged the free collection and it might suit me to get them in Brittany, before travelling to Disney. Do the stores have a special counter or kiosk for collecting? Or do I look for a customer service desk? I only have a few words of French from school, so I hope it's hassle free! I assume I'll be collecting tickets so I can go directly to the show (as I see some agencies provide vouchers and you still have to go to the box office to get the tickets). Thanks again

Hello :)

Are you going to be picking them up in an Auchan supermarket ? If so you can always pick them up at Auchan Val d'Europe which is the closest one to Disney.
Wherever you intend to get them check and see via Ticknet map search if that supermarket has a Spectacles point of sale

Depending on the store it might be at the Accueil or at a dedicated desk marked Billeterie Spectacles

They will ask for the card used to pay the tickets and an id card with photo (so a driving license or passeport) which must be in the same name that's on the card.

All this is to avoid someone using a stolen card and then coming along with it and walking off with the tickets.

I always take with me the order confirmation print out but they never really look at it. Don't be suprised if they type in your card number (the 16 numbers on the front) as this is apparently how they store them ;)

Your tickets are then printed out and given to you with a printed receipt which is the same size as the tickets so keep it seperate.

That's it and with them you go directly to the show.

Hth and if you need any further help just shout :goodvibes

Ok have just looked on Ticcknet for Bretagne and it's all Leclercs

They have either Espace Culturelles (listed as such on the site) or it's going to be at the Accueil/Customer Services counter normally found at the entrance to the store

Great - thanks a million! Some of the hypermarkets are huge - it'll be much easier to find the correct part of the store with your help. I'll be in Brittany for a week - so I might be able to get the tickets in advance - one less thing to sort out in Disneyland.

Hi
I ordered some tickets and they have taken payment but this morning I have had an email from them asking for a photocopy of my passport and the credit card I paid with. Is this normal? The email does genuinely seem to be from the company and has my order number on it. They have also told me to cover all but the first 4 and last 2 numbers on the card.

I emailed them through the website and they confirmed that the request was genuine so I have sent them what they asked for and the tickets are now on their way:goodvibes

Brillant news, must have been a random check, hope you receive them soon :goodvibes

Tickets are here:goodvibes. We had a slight scare because they couldn't find them when I went to the post office to collect:scared1:. They had been left in the secure box in the post van from the day before:confused3

I bought these tickets when Carri Cat posted the flash sale. (Thanks!) I just received an email saying they can't deliver the tickets to the United States:headache: We are arriving in Europe on Saturday June 4th and will be driving to DLP from Amsterdam on June 14th. Where can we pick up our tickets in France that would be convenient?

Thanks in advance!

That is a pain :sad2: You can pick them up at Auchan in the Val d'Europe shopping centre just down the road from DLP. You need to go to the Accueil/Billeterie Spectacles and show them the card that you used to pay the tickets with and a photo id that has the same name as on the card

Looking at the ticketnet site here's the address

AUCHAN VAL D'EUROPE MARNE LA VALLEE
14 rue du Danube Cerris/ 77711 MARNE LA VALLEE

Hi
We used our vouchers from this website last Sunday and took greatpleasure at the ticket booth (where you exchange them 1 hour before for BBWWS tickets) watching a French family 2 ad 2 chn pay about £200. We paid 87 euros for our 3 tickets and my hubbie and son got in free as their birthdays were in May and we have annual passes!
I love this website - thanks for the posting!
