We are going to WDW for a week in October. I'm really torn about BBB. I really dislike the hair styles they give to little girls. I recently read they do an Anna and Elsa package with the braid. Has anyone done this? Do they use a hair piece? My 5 year old has waist length hair, but thin. How much time do you block for a trip?

Thanks.

My girls did the basic hair and makeup package in March. They did not have the Elsa package at the time. My understanding was that it was a limited time thing but maybe it's back. They did use a hair piece previously.

The basic package took about 45 min for us. We were early in the day. Sometimes they get backed up and there's a wait.

My kids really loved it but they are very into the idea of hair and makeup. It was worth it for us but if your daughter is meh about it, I would say no.

Sorry to hijack OP, but does anyone know if I book it with one credit card can we pay with two separate ones when we arrive. We are two families going together but I am making all the reservations.

Yes. You don't pay until you get there.

We are going in 40 some days..... I've been torn about it as well. Am I probably too late to get a reservation? I have her dress for our CRT dinner....I just don't know :(

yes...the hair is kind of funky ...will they do a "free style " up-do or dies it have to be a preset hair do like the phots? We did that when she was little but now my daughter is older and I dont think she will like the pre set hair options.....

They only do the preset hair options at BBB. I have to admit I don't love the styles they do there. My DD does though so it was worth it to me. However, I recently learned about the Ivy Trellis Beauty and Barber Shop at the Grand Floridan. They will do real up do styles, hair, and makeup there. This might be a better option for girls who are a little older but still into the princess look.

I just called the WDW number that rings straight to BBB bookings...teh lady to ld me that they will work to be sure the clients are happy with the hair within reason....becuase utlimately they want gues to be pleased with the experience.

Id go ahead and call to see what you can get. When my daughter was little, we got a reservation early in the day so she would have all day to be "dressed up" and we got into the park at 8 am before the park opened at 9 am [on a non EMH day] :D

I've also read that they do the frozen makeovers, and hope we can do it for our reservation in 3 weeks.
