My daughter loves the idea of getting her hair done, however is 6 and isn't extremely into princessy stuff. She wants to wear her own nice dress (non-princessy) and get her hair and makeup done. The hair salon is only for 18+ or we probably would have went that route. We have an appointment at 5:30 on semi formal night. Will she look too glittery and princessy to pose in a "regular" family picture where we're all dressed up to some extent? I've seen pictures-some look like a glitter bomb went off and some look a little tamed down:) I'm assuming we can fill our stylist in on this?

Also-are we allowed to take pictures or does shutters take pictures?

Thanks!

I am sure they will accommodate your request. You don't have to buy a dress at the BBB, in fact when we cruised in 2014, both of my girls took their own princess dress. Once again, I don't think the dress is required, you are just paying for the experience.

They do have a pop star package too, if that's something that may be more appealing to her.

You are allowed to take all the pictures that you want. DCL is great about letting you take pics and they too take them in case you want to buy the photo package.
