My husband is convinced this would be a waste of time
In truth, my daughter (age 6 at time of trip) does ballet, cheer etc. So she gets her hair and make up done all the time. Plus we have three boys who will be bored to tears while this is going on, so is this a MUST DO? Also I have heard the costumes there are so much better than the ones at home -- can you buy the costumes without doing the BBB? TIA

As someone who has allowed her DD7 and DD4 to do it, I can attest that they don't come out looking like Bratz dolls. DD4 didn't do the makeup (her choice), but she enjoyed the hair and nails. My kids also are not engaging in any "high-risk" behavior due to their exposure to make-up, nor have they asked to wear it at home after their experience. Fortunately, they are quite happy with their appearance every day but are also able to appreciate a little fantasy in life.
