The Elsa and Anna hairstyles are significantly higher in price than the princess buns or diva hairstyles right? Do they offer the Frozen options to the kids or do they stick with what you initially told them when you scheduled? I am afraid if they see them they will want them and I do not want to spend that amount of money. Any advice?

I just read that you can get the hairstyles only but it does not give the price. Does anyone have pictures?

Haven't been since 2014 but at that time they showed my daughter the styles and had her picked. (No Anna or Elsa style then.) I assume you could tell them which style to do without giving her a choice. In the end, my daughter actually didn't like the one she picked and wished she had gone with the princess bun (which is what I thought she would pick instead of the Diva style with extensions.)

They will show her. You can try to premept it by telling them the style you want and telling them you do not need the flyer. Are you bringing dresses and are you doing MK more than one day? I plan on having my kids wear their Elsa and Anna costumes a different day and they will wear their hair in a braid with snowflake clips I bought online and I will put makeup on them and I think a braid in their hair will be much better than the fake hair in that package. But I will have my kids wear different costumes the day they are doing BBB. Actually now that I am thinking about it I am going to ask them if they want to schedule BBB on their birthday or the next day we go to MK, I have a feeling they will want it on the day of but now I am feeling bad if they don't get to wear what they want but I HATE that stupid hair plus the extra cost.

We were there in February and they asked which package and hairstyle. Anna and Elsa were not an option. Even on the little flyer they only had 3 options. The bun, the crazy teased bun like, rats near thing, and the pop star, which is twist with colored hair extensions. My girls chose the last one and it was actually really cute.

When we were there last October, at the time of check-in I was asked very discretely that they have Elsa/Anna option available but much more expensive than regular style. She asked me if I wanted to show my girls that options or not.
She said a lot of kids got really upset when their parents said no after seeing the options.

That is what I was afraid of. Thank you for sharing. I will try say we do not need the flyer or ask for only the traditional flyer to be shown.

When I took my niece last September, I just told fairy godmother that she would like to be a fairytale princess please. The flyer was never brought out and it was a non-issue. My sister didn't want her picking that crazy pink punky hairdo and looking silly in her pictures so we made the choice for her. No problems at all, and she was thrilled to be a princess!

I did the same thing. The only hairstyle I can tolerate is the bun. The rest are just so tacky, so I always tell the godmother to please just do the bun. I forgot this past trip but fortunately my four year old chose the bun because it comes with the crown!
