Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to convince my sister to allow her youngest daughter to have a BBB makeover when my youngest does hers. Her daughter would need a size 12 or 14 girls (she's larger than most her age) does anyone know if the dresses come in those sizes?

We took both our dd's to have makeovers. My oldest, 9, is very tall for her age and wears a size 16 or 18. She tried on the largest Belle dress they had, it fit, but was a little tight around the bust, she did have her t-shirt on underneath it though, so I think you might be okay, as the dress have some stretch in that area.

Hope this helps.

thanks for this info...I will add it to my arsenal for when I talk to my sister again. :-)

my 2 cents: if she's big for her age she might already be a bit self conscious. I think I'd have something made or at least buy ahead and bring it to avoid an uncomfortable situation. They don't always have every dress in every size in stock and it would be a shame for her to be disappointed when it should be such a fun experience.

I wonder if when I make the reservation for my daughter and my niece I could ask them what sizes they go up to and then have them note the reservation???

I was thinking about purchasing ahead of time myself for my daughter and I went on the Disney Store website to see what sizes were available and I noticed that the dresses aren't like the ones at Disneyland....the ones at Disneyland look much more finished. :-( I know we could get dresses in the sizes we need from the Disney Store....but I would really like the dresses to be more finished.....anyone have experience with this?

I'm not sure on the girl's age, but will she even WANT to dress up? Maybe just do the hair and make up. Also will she be hot and uncomfortable in the dress.

She is 9 years old and she and my 5 year old are best buddies (as well as cousins). They always stick together and play together. She's a girly girl like my youngest and they dress up together when they play. I know that she'll love it....especially if she gets to do it with her buddy.

the ones at bbb, they sell the same ones at the big store in downtown disney too, are definitely the more deluxe ones. I never see those at my local disney store but I thought you could buy them on the website. did you search for "deluxe". maybe even call bbb and ask them the item or style numbers or something. it seems like this would be a good time to be looking with halloween coming up.

fwiw, I had a custom cinderella dress made for my 3.5 yr old by a seller on etsy that rivaled the one that cindy in the parks wears for only slightly more than the bbb ones. Unbelievable quality but different from the bbb ones that have more of that netting stuff. Both nice, just different. I really wanted one that looked like the "real" cindy dress which is hard to find.
