bbb do or don't?

The buns are tight but all three of my girls picked this lok out which surprised me - there are two other designs where locks are added.
I think it was worth the price. We brought our own dresses - I went to JC Penney's around Easter & bought fancy dresses for the girls - they were about $20-25 & they looked gorgeous in them. They loved having the attention of being in the salon.
As for the price - It was $50 - for that you get (mind you- the prices are Disney prices but if you wnted to buy it all separate, this is what it costs at Disney)- the sash - $8; the crown - $10; two bottles of nail polish (unused portion put in bag to go home) -$3.0 a piece - $7; a jeweled hairclip - $10; make-up -I think it was $8? (unused portion put in bag to go home) ; face jewels - $5 (extras put in bag to go home) - all put in a pretty pink bag promoting the BBB. they sprinkle glitter all over the kids so they have that glow. So for the $50 - you are getting over $40 in Disney merchandise. Not a bad bargain - they are all dolled up & have people oohing & aahing over them all day. The best part was going to the photo studio afterwards & the photog took a ton of pictures of them. together, individually. I think he took about 50 pictures which I put on my photopass & he didn't even try to sell me a picture or package.
If your girls are into being dolled up, it was worth every penny!

Other than the crown, the hair clip, face jewels and the bag...the rest of it is worthless to dd (and ergo...me). With sales at disneyshopping and the brick and mortar stores you can get the crown for $5-6 (they are on sale through today...Cindy's crown is only $5.50), jeweled clip is less than $5 at Target and face jewels can be had at the dollar store for....$1. So far we are at less than $15 and all we need now is the bag. Personally dd has about 10 of these w/ varying themes laying around the house so an eleventh isn't a popular idea with me.

As I stated earlier...if this whole shebang was $25...I'd consider it... but $50 is just way too much money.

I'm really glad that dd would rather stop at the barber ship, wear her princess dresses and go on the pirate cruise than opt for bbb!

just wanted to let others know while at Walmart today in the toddlers section i found a small princess crown that is attached to a hair comb. Also it has another crown attached to a soft streachy hair band.. walahh instant princess for my smallests DD trip in 2 weeks. i am going to put her hair in a poney tail ( maybe a bun ) add some gel to it for holding power and put the clip one infront of the ponytail/ bun. that way if she is sick of it or it hurts etc i can easily pull it out and still have her hair up. cost of my investment a mear $4.00 !! i have seen the girls all dressed up myself. the parents spend a fortune but it has been in the mid 80s here already. the poor girls roast in the costumes etc plus it is hard to walk in them and how they heck are they going to eat a mickey ice cream bar in that dress.. i think parents exspect too much out of kids at times. let them enjoy the exsperiance take pics etc but let them change into something comfy to tour the parks.. maybe i am just cheap thrifty whatever but i seen many kids having melt down while there parents screamed at them in the happiest place on earth "

The official rule is they need to be 3 within 30 days of their scheduled appointment. However, I was told that as long as they can sit and be still without wanting you to hold them etc, then they don't mind. Some 2 year olds can't sit for 40 minutes without whining. So if your daughter won't have aproblem then don't worry. Or if she meets teh 30 day criteria then you are fine too!!

thanks for the info just what i wanted to know already made reservations for sept 5 as im taking DD to MNSSH!!!!!!

We're planning to go back in 2010 - I know it's a long time - our DD will be 9 then and she may do the Hannah Package but I still love looking at the pics!

Hope this helps!

Just wanted to let you know, the Hannah Package doesn't come with clothes....

just a blanket draped over, with the shoulders showing! :rotfl: j/k

BTW, I found Disney press on nails in Target's dollar spot. The set includes 12 nails with Ariel on them.

This is your opininion, every girl is different. My DD would rather have BBB than the pirate cruise, so to each his own. I think it is completely worth every penny. She loves it, therefore, I love it. It makes her feel special and magical, and that is each parent's goal, and for our family BBB is the way that happens.
