When booking BBB, can it be done 180 days out or is there a different window?

Do they charge the full amount to your credit card or is it just a hold/deposit? I am going to do the basic package as DD is not interested in the "itchy" dresses and possible outgrown that stage now anyhow. Do I need to say exactly which package we are doing and what happens when you get there to pay? Do they email a receipt or something if it has been charged?
Thanks. My 180 days is tomorrow.

My friend booked this for her daughter on April 25 and I believe that she had to pay when she booked - she did the mid-package. She just saw it appear on her credit card statement - they gave her a confirmation number and appointment time over the phone but nothing was sent.

That's fine. Confirmation number makes sense. I just want to be prepared. I have a prepaid Mastercard with US dollars. I am hoping not to have to use one of my UK credit cards as the foreign exchange fee gets added onto it but I need to be prepared for either so just getting my head around all the possibilitites. Thanks, that is the info I was looking for. :thumbsup2

everything is booked 180 days out. and you should NOT be charged when booking. the credit card is required to secure the booking but is only used in case of a no show when there's a penalty of $10 (or $20 now?). You pay upon services rendered.

Nothing is charged at the time you make the reservation. Your cc is just taken to secure the ressie. If you are a no-show, your cc will be charged a fee.

Thanks. I am booking anyway so I will do that tomorrow with my ADRs. Just trying to figure out which card to use.

Is there a good/bad time to aim for in the MK? It is on a day we will be there from rope drop to closing so any time could suit as long as it doesn't clash with available times for a late lunch ADR

It was probably the Princess lunch at CRT that showed up on her credit card statement. It makes more sense for them not to charge for BBB until you get the service in case they can talk you into upgrading.

My friend booked the Princess Makeover for 9:30am with the park opening at 9am and the Princess lunch at 11:45am on the same day. Our goal is to ride Winne the Pooh and Dumbo before the appointment then I will take their tickets and get FP for Peter Pan then we will ride Peter Pan, It's a Small World and Carousel after the makeover and hopefully see Princess Tiana then it will be time for the CRT lunch. I will grab some more FP then we will do a few rides and mostly try to do character greetings since she will be all done up.

Have a great Disney trip!:cool1:

So if I we get to the park for rope drop that day and book for around 10 or 11 am that would give us time to do a few rides while it is quieter then go to BBB? I am planning a late lunch at CP that day - hopefully in the last half hour of the lunchtime window so it can serve as an early dinner. I obviously want DD to have the benefit of being made over for th better portion of the day so won't do it too late if possible.

What should take priority in terms of hard-to-get: BBB or Crystal Palace late lunch? Actually, I'm doing dining ressies online so that means I could do them first anyway. Do I need to be hot on the phone line to call for BBB asap or is it not one of those?

I believe they told my friend to plan for the appointment to be 30-45 minutes long so if you schedule the makeover for 10 or 11am then you will have lots of time. If I was you, I would try for 11am for the appointment so that you will have at least 2 hours of ride time then go to the makeover. Good luck on both reservations!:wizard:

Sounds like a good plan. I'll do that - thank you! :)
