We are planning a "girl's only morning" during our trip the first week of December since there are many things my DD7 wants to do but DS11 will not. We are planning to take her to BBB and Akershus Royal Breakfast on Monday, 12/1. A few questions: Would you recommend BBB in MK or DTD? Akershus before or after BBB? I was considering BBB at 8am in MK then taking monorail over to Epcot for breakfast at 9:30am. Will we have enough time?princess:

thanks.

I would do BBB before breakfast, so her pictures with the Princesses will include her all "done up".

I think if you are doing BBB at 8:00 am, then I would make a Princess Storybook ressie for later than 9:30 am. You want to give yourself enough time for the appt. at BBB as well as getting back out of the park, to the monorail, and through Epcot to Norway. Maybe closer to 10:00 am or so? Have fun!!

Well, I'm not 'into' the whole BBB thing so take that in consideration with my advice. I LOVE having the first reservation of the morning at Akerhaus - we were the FIRST ONES for pictures with Belle, it isn't crowded yet because you get seated first and they're still 'welcoming' people while you start eating, and all of the princesses are fresh and you can tell - not tired out yet from their day.

Where are you staying? How are you getting around (buses or car)?

To me - when we stay onsite and use bus transportation - it would seem like way too much to hop a bus to DTD or MK, then do the whole BBB thing, then transport again over to EPCOT and walk all the way back to the restaurant. Not to mention - my kids would be starving by then.

Personally - I would pretty her up yourself and do breakfast first and then be able to take your time with BBB and not be set to a reservation time so that you have to leave by a certain time and hurry out.

Does seem like way too much running around in the morning for me too. I also wanted to point out that I just made my appointment for BBB and CRT. My appointment and my ADR are an hour and 45 minutes apart...and they are right next door to one another. This was at the suggestion of the CM who made my appointment. They stated that you don't always get into BBB right at your appointment time and sometimes it takes 20 minutes and sometimes it takes an hour.

Don't forget that doing this appointment means that you will be getting to MK, going through the gates, walking to the castle, then walking back out of MK, waiting for the monorail at MK station, riding that monorail to the TTC, switching to the other monorail for Epcot, waiting for that monorail, riding that monorail, going through the gates at Epcot, and making the long walk to Norway (probably a good 10-15 minute walk depending how fast you walk)

Since your trip is in December...how about breakfast at the Castle instead? You still have time to make your ADRs

Thanks for the advise, just too many things to consider which is why I posted it here early. We ate at CRT during our trip in 2006 on her birthday and she wanted to try Akerahus this time.

We are staying at Pop and will be taking the bus to the park and it now looks like we would be rushing everywhere. I certainly don't want to rush either experience and make it less magical for her or me. Maybe we will plan princess breakfast on Monday 8am and then Tuesday break time go to BBB since we are going to the MCMCP that night.
