BBB...are there every cancellations?

I was able to get a rezzie at BBB but it was at the Disney Springs location...I was hoping for MK.

Do they ever become available? Is there a thread here where people post cancellations for BBB or do I just have to keep calling in?

We are about to cancel one DD decided she doesn't want to do it again this year. I think she may do the mermaid makeover instead.

In my experience, cancellations are fairly rare. Seems every year I am trying to improve our appointment time, and am unable to do so.

It depends and does happen. A couple years ago on a last minute trip I was able to get an appointment in July 2 weeks prior (in MK location) and then twice in the days leading up to it was able to move up the time.
Last Feb. I called the night before my brother and his family were at MK at 5:00 p.m. and was able to get an appt. for my niece the following day after weeks of them trying for the MK location (and talk about luck of the draw - found out my SIL called within 5 minutes before I did and there was nothing available when she called)

I would check at BBB first thing in the morning on the day you are at MK.

Last year we were able to snag an opening within the month before our trip (for about 1:00pm on one of our MK days). I don't remember exactly how far out we were, but I called every morning until I got one.

Regarding where to look for posts - I rarely see them posted on the boards, but have seen people post them in the ADR cancellation threads before.

Thanks everyone! Great tips...I do have one booked for disney springs...but I keep reading that the MK location is a really lovely experience.

Will keep trying!
