BB/TL in July?

Are the crowds unbearable at BB or TL in Mid July?

The waterparks have been known to hit full capacity and close the entrances for a couple of hours around noon. If you get there early, you won't have a problem getting in. There will be lines on the big slides and 95% of the chairs will be occupied or "reserved" but its really not so bad. I wouldn't not go to the waterparks in the summer just because they were busy. There is always something that you could do without waiting in line, like the wave pool at TL.

We will be at BB on June 23 and can't wait. That was what my son wanted to do on his birthday...

what day is BB traditionally most crowded?

i know this a bit of a crazy question about a water park in florida in the heat of july but sometimes people tend to flock to these attractions on weekends or certain days.


we are planning at least one day at a waterpark and just wanted to know if there is a certain day that is best.

If you can't get there early, then go for the last two hours the waterpark is open- a lot of people are heading out of the park by then and the lines are shorter. This works best if you have a UPH or PAP, of course - unless you don't mine using a plus for 2 hrs in the park. -Stephanie

I have been to both water parks in July and BB was more crowded than TL no matter what day I went. Typically, going during the week is better in a water park than on the weekend because you get locals who go on the weekend too. We either went when the park opened in the morning or later in the afternoon (about 3:30 or 4:00) and the crowds were low with little or no waits to get on the raft rides and slides.
I love TL because it is more rlaxing and has lots of shade. My DS and DD love TL because of the wave pool. They would stay in the wave pool for hours while we were there.

In the summer, both get filled fast. Either be there before they open and run to get your spot, or show up after the afternoon rainstorm. That will clear out a lot of guests and you will have lots of space to choose from. If we don't go until later in the day, we head over there about 2:30 or 3PM.
