I've read enough about the wave pools to want to avoid them and also the swimming with sharks. What would an older person who is not a great swimmer enjoy at each park? So far, the lazy river at both sounds good. We like moderate to easy water slides. No speed slides. Thanks!

This past January I (40 yo) made a solo trip to BB during our family's stay. There was certainly plenty to do that I enjoyed, but I do think that BB was built to be bigger and faster than TL to keep up with the competition. There are certainly several high, fast slides; but there are also some more moderate slides as well. The lazy river was real nice.

Last year DH and I (both 56) went to TL because we hadn't been for a while. Well this year we will go back to BB. I did not like the big waves in the pool and we just didn't enjoy it as much as we do BB. We like that you can take the ski lift to Teamboat Springs. I highly recommend BB. Its one of our favorite things at WDW.
