BB free dining for Sept 2014

We just returned a few weeks ago and there was a bounce back offer for free dining starting August 20, 2014 and going through September.

I was there last September and never received any bounceback offers! Actually, I've stayed at a Disney resort 3 times now and have yet to see one. Is this something they do randomly? Can I call them to tell them I was there and I have a reservation booked for 9/2014 to see if I can get this offer as well? Thanks!

If you are staying at a WDW resort you should be eligible for any current bounceback offers whether or not there is a flyer in your room.

If there is nothing in the room you can ask the resort concierge about bounceback offers.

You cannot call them from home to change a reservation you have already booked to a bounceback offer. You can accept a bounceback offer ONLY while you are still staying at the resort. Once you leave the resort you are no longer eligible. And if you stayed there in September of 2012 that will not qualify you at all for the current offer.

When you're at Disney, call x8844 from your resort room to ask for the most current BB offer. We did last month and have a free dining trip booked for September of next year. Yay!!

The flyers are much less visible now and you really need to hunt for the offer. In the past there was something boldly on our table. This year it was within a brochure that was one of a few brochures in a folder. Definitely not something that you would easily see.

x8844 is your friend!

Maybe someone can explain this to me if I'm not understanding but I don't understand the benefit of FD BB in Sept when historically there is already usually FD in Sept?

FD for Sept usually doesn't come out till April or May of next year.

I can't speak for anyone else, but there are several reasons why we like the bounceback offers:
1) Helps to spread out the payments over about 10 months.
2) We feel that we can get whatever room we want, because of how early we are booking.
3) We all get that excitement of knowing we are going back :cheer2:

Sometimes the BB includes more dates (starts earlier) then the public offer in the spring.

Does it exclude the Little Mermaid rooms??

We were at AKL last weekend and the offer there did not include any value resorts. It was mod and deluxe for the regular dining plan.
Like someone said, there was not the usual flyer on the table but in the folder there was a brochure.

Dates for BB are 8/20-9/29. :)

I asked at the desk and they sent the information to our room since the book/flyer was missing.

I've moved this thread to the Disney Discount Codes and Rates board. :)

Agree with this, gives us plenty of time to pay it off and know we are getting free dining. :cool1:

the people who are assigning room have no idea who booked their rooms first or who booked last..
The last two times we booked at over 450 days-- and got crappy rooms and not one request being met.

If I book a BB for one hotel, can I change the selectd hotel later on for the same dates? Or will I lose the promotion?

I thought the pp was referring to the fact that when you book FD BB the availability at the resorts is wide open. For instance, you can book a standard room at FQ and when (if) GP FD comes out the availability is usually a lot less.
