After much reading on this thread before heading to CA (East coaster here), decided to book the BB Fantasmic package and was not disappointed in the least! Great meal, great view of the show and well organized. Only wish I could have said the same for the World of Color dinner show package but that's for another post! So thanks everyone who suggested this package!!!

I'm very interested in your report about WoC dining package. Also, did you notice if RBT and BB viewing areas are still being mingled?

We did the Ariel's WoC at the end of 2014 and liked it. The crowds were nuts and it was hard to find the proper entrance, but once we got settled in it was a great view and not too crowded (we were there at a lower crowd time of year as well).

However, I've heard others on this board say your best bet for WoC is the fastpass system, and that the dining packages confer very little benefit. That surprised me to hear, but this year we will be trying Fastpass instead of dining. We'll see!

I think we became spoiled by doing the Fantasmic package the night before and then when we hit WOC, everyone was sitting down and looking relaxed until the CMs told everyone we had to stand about a half hour before the show started. I felt bad for the mom next to me trying to juggle twin babies and standing there...babies get heavy to hold after a while! :O

I just want to add some advice from my experience with both BB and WoC dining. Arrive earlier than your server tells you to arrive. We arrived about 10 minutes early (had been told 8:30) to the Fantasmic seating area and it was already 3 rows deep with people. We learned from our mistake and arrived 40 minutes early (had been told to arrive at 8:30, we arrived before 8:00) to WoC area and made the front row.

Does the BB Fantasmic Package sell out quickly? I'm going in mid-November, and I realize that the reservations haven't been released yet. But, it looks like every date that is released is fully booked.

Should I be online at some particular time to snag a reservation before they go quickly? (Just 2 of us. Not a huge party.)

I'd like to know this as well, but for the RBT package instead of BB. There are two of us as well and it'd be great to know how quickly the reservations fill up.

I haven't followed just how quickly reservations book up for the Fantasmic package, but I do know that online reservations open sometime during the night. I don't think it is consistently at a certain time, but online reservations are available before the phone lines open at 7am PST.

We wanted to book our BB Fantasmic for September 18th and looked online on July 22nd and the 18th was already completely booked. We were able to book for the 19th but we have a 4:00 dinner time. From what I saw they do book pretty quick.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

The avengers run is in mid-nov so DL dining reservations might be close to being fully booked.

I did the RBT package last week and was able to get my 5:45pm reservation about 7 days before. I kept checking a few times a day, just to see the availability and they always had An opening. RBT's check in line was full when we got there and waited around 15 minutes until we were seated.

How was your meal at RBT? Would you recommend it? Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the info.!

Meal was salty but I think that about all the food at Disney and most other restaurants. I have a very low tolerance for salt and don't even cook with it so a tiny pinch of salt to me is too much. I ordered the corn chowder soup, steak and shrimp meal, and had apple pie for dessert. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, it wasn't rubbery. The steak was thick and juicy, but it was cooked well done even though I asked for medium well; not a big deal to me. The apple pie dessert was tasty. Food service was fine, no long wait for our food and server was very attentive. As with any food reviews, this is a very subjective personal opinion so take that as you like. I would go there again.

I am going b/c of the Avengers run. The reservations have not been released for November.

From what I can tell, all of the released reservations for September and October are taken. As a WDW vet, I've bought into the "DL dining reservations are easier than WDW dining" logic. I'm curious if that still applies to BB Fantasmic!, which isn't offered every day.

DS and I are going to be there 17-21.
I was online when reservations opened up and they booked up unbelieveably fast.
I was lucky enough to snag a 4:30p reservation for BB fantasmic on the 18th.
That wasn't the time I had wanted...we were going to watch the parade then eat dinner but it was the only time I could get.
I think it's going to be busy with the 18th being Dapper Day at DL.
