BB fantasmic kids meal age

We were at BB tonight for the Fantasmic dining with our 11year old girls. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted kids or adult menus for them. I let them know our girls were 11 and they said they do kids menus for kids 12 and under. We had expected to pay adult prices for them so we were thrilled with the much more reasonable kids price for them. I don't know if this is new, but just though I'd write in case anyone was on the fence about going and paying adult prices for children. We almost didn't go because it was going to be so expensive. I'm so glad we went and walked out with a smaller bill than expected.

The kids meal was still like $22, but I was fine with that. It included the standard drink too. My kids liked the meal better than the adult meal too. They started with veggies and dip, then had 4 meal pchoices, then a delicious chocolate Mickey dessert.

It's printed on the menu as 9 and under. They may be a little more lax with 10 and 11 year olds so that they can take a hard line on kids who are obviously 12 and 13. But if your kid is 10, you're supposed to order an adult meal or adult portion.

It was printed 9 and under on the menu. That is why I pointed out my girls were 11. The BB staff said 12 and under could order from it.

I wouldn't count on that being a rule. It sounds more like a mistake or an exception.

That would be a great thing for us! Won't expect it, but will hope for it to happen for my DS too.

Maybe they were just being nice. At the time they made it seem like a change in policy. Maybe go being prepared for adult pricing and if they offer kids meals be happy. We were fully prepared for adult prices for all 4 of us. The kids meals were a real bonus.
