BB - do dates carry over

On the bounceback - does it work like free dining? If you check in on a date that is covered by the bounceback is carries over to the dates not under the bounceback.

I mean if I check in on 12/2 and stay until 12/9 do the 5th - 8th get the same discount as the 2nd - 4th? Or is it just the discount on each night that the bb is covered?

NEW QUESTION - If you have a package for 7 nights and have a RO for another 4 nights and the RO is covered by the bounceback - can you call during the package and book the BB for the remaining 4 nights?

I find it highly unlikely that you'd be able to get the BB for a reservation seven days from your stay. Will it even be offered at the time, you know?

according to the flyer that is posted on this forum - 11/30 thru 12/4 are listed for bb dates

I currently have a RO reservation after my package ends on 11/29. I am staying on thru 12/2. I was wondering if I called on 11/21 my check in date could I get a BB if all the dates were available at the same hotel (don't to hop from hotel to hotel the 29th thru 12/2) - it would be within the 5 days cancellation policy for the RO reservation. Could I do it?

Bounce back offers can only be booked while you are a resort guest. So if you were staying at a WDW during a time when they had a RO BB offer for Nov 30th - Dec 4th, and you made a reservation for the dates Dec 2-Dec 9th while you were at the WDW resort, then only the dates of Dec 2, 3, 4th would have a discount. You can call back at any time the BB offer is still available and add additional dates to that reservation, and get the discount price for the dates that occur during the BB period.

But the current BB offer will probably expire soon. Disney usually switches to a different offer in August. So you might have a different BB offer that won't include 2013 dates when you are there in November.

Bounceback offers are for a time in the future because they want you to come back for another trip. I can't recall any that would be valid for dates that would allow you to extend a stay while you're already there.
