Bazzill Page Kit Swap - ***UPDATED -- SEE PG. 6 ***

Everythings sounds fine. Bazzill required for the cardstock, other brands okay for embellishment.

Still looking for one more for the other/generic group, or else it will remain at 4 people.

YEah!!!!!!!! I have all of my supplies! Only took me going to 3 scrap stores! Should have gone to the flower warehouse first! Now I can sit down and start to create my stuff!

I started working on my stuff today at work. I just have to get to another LSS to get the right color of red bazzill. I'm off Thur and we plan on going to a new store so maybe they will have what I am looking for. I can't wait to get everything done and in the mail. We are leaving for WDW on 12/4 so mine has to be done well before then! I love working under tight deadlines though, I get more creative.

Hey there!
I jsut have to say I am finally having fun with this swap! I am almost done my Mickey stuff! It is fun working with a color group!
Hope to finish it by Monday and then start on Belle!

I'm having a great time too. I actually like the way Piglet turned out and I'm still not out of ideas for my next group, Goofy. This was a really good swap idea.

Mine went postal today. I had hope to get to the post office last week but didn't make it. I sent it priority mail so you should have it in a few days.
I sent my set with it didn't know if I was suppose to or not so that is why one kit has 5 and the other has 6.

Can't wait to see what everyone created!

Yes, please send your own pieces too. It's easier for me to swap that way.

Also, if I could make a special request... please don't label your packages "to xxx" a certain swapper, unless you have something extra for that person. It is easier for me to swap (like dealing cards, hehe) when I don't worry about who is getting what package.

If you could please post when you went postal, that would be great. We're going to run into some slooooow holiday mail going forward so I need to be on the lookout and make sure we'll be able to swap out in a timely manner.

Lastly, I would like to wait for mail delays, but does everyone want me to swap what I have on 12/15 regardless of whose has arrived? I am leaving for WDW on the 16th, so I either mail what I have on the 16th or mail when I get back on the 24th (meaning it probably won't go out till the 26th). I am feeling sensitive, given the flaker discussions going on right now. I don't want to make people wait but holiday mail is such a variable...

BTW, there are 13 swappers total in this swap, and only 3 are participating in only 1 group, so there are alot of groups interdependent on each other. I won't be able to mail anything back until all 10 swappers receive pieces for all their groups. If you anticipate a delay, please let us know sooner rather than later. Thanks!!

I prefer that you wait until after the holidays. Less confusion at the PO and gives the PO time to get things where they need to be.

I am done with mine and DD and I are going to work on her's this weekend. I hope to mail next week.

I think it's better to send after the holidays too. Don't want to risk getting our precious "loot" lost in the mail :earboy2:
But whatever works for you best is fine. I'll probably be straggling to the last few days of this swap only because I've been working so much and now we leave for Orlando on Sunday until the 7th. I promise to get it out by the 15th though. But it won't get there until about the 17th or so. Do you have anyone picking up your mail for you?

Yes, we have an AWESOME petsitter who comes to our house and takes care of our 3 dogs while we're on vacation. She grabs our mail out of the box for us so it's all waiting there when we get home. I will give her a heads-up that there will be a few packages that must be "handled with care"

I just don't want everyone to think I'm holding their stuff hostage, but I am afraid that mailing in the week before Christmas would be asking for trouble... Besides the slowness, you never know if someone might bust into one of those packages thinking there was something of value inside (and there WOULD be... Bazzill is expensive!)....

SPINNING!!! I got your package today. It looks great. You guys are going to love this swap. Bazzill gives it such a nice look :)

BTW if anyone needs Bazzill, I just got an email from scrapsupply.com for a Thanksgiving sale. 20% off your entire order with code gobble5. Good from 11/24-27.

So glad you got my stuff!
I had a total blast working on it! At first I thought being restricted to bazzill was going to make me nuts, (all my questions! LOL!) But it actually let me be more creative and to think!
I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

I have finished 2 of my 3 groups and hope to finish the last group next week or maybe even this weekend. I can't wait to see all of the stuff.

Oh, since this is my first swap on this board, do any of you post what you are doing or do you let it be a surprise?

Oh, and I agree about waiting until after the holidays to mail it. I would hate for anything to get lost!

Giving us a bump back up to the top...

I have a favor to ask... I would love to share all this work with everyone but I always run out of time to scan each piece, so IF you have access to a camera or scanner, could you please send me a jpeg of your pieces and I will put them all on a page together for everyone to see (after pieces go postal back to you).

You can email them to disneyjoy@gmail.com

If you don't have access or have already mailed them, that's okay - I will scan them... but it would same me a little work and time if you could. MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

Also, when you mail your packages, could you please write somewhere on the outside your Dis Name -- that way I can glance at it quickly and check you off without having to open up the package (I like to handle the packages as little as possible -- so as to not lose anything or destroy it - after all, I do have 2 kids in the house!).

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I cannot wait to see everyone's work!

Hi,
I actually did take a picture. I will try and email it tomorrow
Thanks again for hosting!
Sondra

Joy,

I just need to finish one element and so does DD. I hope to do that this weekend and hope to mail out this week. I will take pics and have DD e-mail them. She is the computer genius in the family.

I just sent you an email with pictures of my swap items!
