Hello! I'm finally going to my happy place on 2/18. Unfortunately, yet fortunately (because I get to go) this is a budget trip so we are staying offsite. Found this hotel - see subject line - $56 a night. I would love to hear all reviews. I can't change my mind because it's non-refundable but I want to know what to expect. We will be going at it day and night so we will only be there to sleep. Still, I want to hear reviews good and bad.

Thanks to all. My next trip - I plan on staying onsite. This time of year is expensive but it's the only time my bf could go in the near future. He owns a landscape business and beginning in March he is busy at least 9 hours a day sometimes 6 days a week. Not complaining there...

:-) Happy Saturday

DS takes his high school team there every spring to stay (this is year 7) when participating in a Disney Track Meet. One reason is so they won't be around other teams - his is well behaved with lots of rules.

He is a hotel snob (and his team full of affluent kids) and he says it's just fine. Rooms nice, breakfast, safe location, lots of eats to walk to and it's by the back entrance to property by AK. A few minutes and you are on property.

With us he is used to staying on-property, suites, condos etc and said he would absolutely return here on his own for a budget trip.

From Baymont EPCOT is about 6 miles and Magic Kingdom 8 miles.
Driving highway (although you can go through back way which is Sherberth Rd by AK) it would be about 10 and 13 minutes respectively.

and what a great tip regarding the back way towards AK. Is it easy to find this Sherbeth Road?????

Go to the Baymont site, hit maps and then zoom in. You will see the hotel is in a "v" between Black Lake and Sherberth Rd, so you are right there at it!! ;)
