I was thinking of a little splurge next trip and maybe doing a split stay, staying here 3 nights, the other 4 nights at a value.

First, should we start out here or finish up here?
Second, is this room type ever included in discounts?
If so, would I still get the discount if I use the Disney Visa $200 deal?

Now, tell me anything you can about doing a split stay. (First time doing split stay)

Tell me what you think about this resort.
Can you hear the music for the fireworks on your balcony? What is transportation like? The pool? Do you
eat at Contemporary Resort?

I'm just trying to get excited about going back and thought this might help.
Thanks for any help.

I can't answer all your questions, but I can say that I would definitely stay at the value resort first and then move up to BLT. I'm not sure I could stay in a value resort immediately after a deluxe!

I can also tell you that I've stayed there twice, once for a week in a 1-bedroom and once for just one night in a studio. During the one-week stay we got tired of having to walk to CR, catch the monorail, ride to TTC, then change to the Epcot monorail when we wanted to go to Epcot. But walking to MK was wonderful, and taking the buses to AK and DHS wasn't a problem.

Our 1-bedroom was a lake view but we could see the fireworks very well from our windows. I can't remember whether we could hear the music or not - we were able to listen on the TV in the room. When we stayed in the studio we had a theme park view but were at MK for fireworks that night!

And we did eat at CR, but not all the time - cooked breakfast in the room, ate lunch and dinner in the parks or other resorts.
