Bay Lake Towers DVC?

just because everything points to it being a DVC - doesn't mean it will be. As Dean pointed out - Disney may go with DVC II - and we (DVC I) owners couldn't trade into it. Hope not.
Put this waaaaay down on this list of things to worry about. Let's think about this from Disney's perspective.

Cons of putting CRV in it's own DVC 2:

1) Makes CRV points less valuable since they can't trade into existing DVC
2) Makes existing points less valuable since they can't trade into DVC
3) Make it a lot harder to sell the millions of AKV points they have left
4) Ticks off the existing DVC membership
5) Puts a black eye on the DVC brand

Pro's of putting CRV in it's own DVC 2:

1) ????
2) Bueller?
3) Bueller?
4) Anyone?

Due respect; do you understand the public PR NIGHTMARE Disney would endure if they did this at this point? It wouldn't even be worth the cost of the building itself.

I think you're vastly overstating the public reaction here. No matter what changes Disney makes (dining plan, characters in IASW, changes to Spaceship Earth, etc.), there's some form of outrage from some corners. But by-and-large the Disney fan base collectively shrugs its shoulders and moves on.

If Disney announced 300 Contemporary Suites tomorrow, there would be a small write-up in the Sentinel and a few thousand posts here expressing varying degrees of disappointment.

15 million people visit the Magic Kingdom each year and there are only a few thousand with a vested interest in the Contemporary construction project. PR nightmare? I doubt it.
