Good morning all!

I'm a new member of the boards, and joined just to post that I did all my ADRs this morning online (at the 90 day mark) and got everything I wanted, including CRT and Le Cellier! (Also, Ohana, Boma, Chef Mickey's (breakfast), and 1900 Park Fare).

The online booking was very smooth, except it dropped one of my selections and I had to go back and and make it again after I'd already finalized. Not a big deal, but I'm glad I double checked my list!

We're leaving on 1/21 and staying at the Bay Lake Towers and then moving to the Boardwalk on a friend's DVC points.

Has anyone stayed at the Bay Lake Towers? I'd love some insight! We've typically stayed "lower end" than this, so we're feeling very excited!

Hope everyone else has success with their reservations!

I stayed there in September and LOVED it! It really is a great resort. The pool is (in my opinion) the 2nd best at WDW. I was able to reserve a lake-view studio (via waitlist) on the 14th floor. BUT!!! We got a bonus... Not only could we see the lake... but also the MK from the balcony! Awesome view from room 8406.

There are a few drawbacks... 1) The studio room was small. Enough for two, but that is about it. 2) This is more for the ladies... there is no full length mirror. The wife found this to be annoying. 3) The bathroom has a sliding door. Very modern, but it doesn't lock.

But that is about it. Everything else was fantastic and the lounge access is a great perk as well! I cant wait to go back.

I also stayed at BLT last month. Everything the previous post said is true. We had a Grand Villa with a Magic Kingdom view. Everything was wonderful - great views, great furnishings, great time.

Enjoy your stay!

Robert

We stayed there in August (checked in opening day). I really like the contemporary decor and the graphic art. We had a MK view studio. It was like having a private viewing area for the fireworks. Our family of four didn't feel cramped. We just put the kids bed back into a sofa every morning. Also, I like being connected to the Contemporary Resort for the great dinning and shopping. When we got home, we bought into the DVC with BLT as our home resort. We are going back in 2010 and staying at a 1 bedroom with MK view.

i stayed there in sept. i agree with the PP's. i had a standard view and was quite surprised that it also had a view of the lake and we were directly across from MK (space mt.). we saw the fireworks from our balcony. had better view than when we're in the parks.

i wish thay had some food service here. maybe a coffee bar or something. the walk to contemp is not bad but it's not a step away if you are in certain parts of the resort. skywalk is 5th floor and we were on 4th so we had no problem

We check in on Feb 6 for 8 nights in a Bay Lake view Studio room. I am really excited! I am looking forward to a new resort! I also love that we can get to CM (our traditional arrival night dinner) so easy!! We also plan on trying the Wave since we will be there. Are there any mug refill places in BLT itself?
