Does anyone know what rooms/villas in BLT would have 2 queen in one room? I'm new to BLT. We need 2 beds for sure. Are there any studios with 2 actual queen beds (not a queen and a sleeper sofa)? Also needs to be TPV.
Would I have to get a one bedroom? If so what would the sleeping arrangements be? TIA!

Two queens in a room would be in a 2BR dedicated, any view.

Studios have one queen and a sofabed. The 1BR has a king in one room, and a sofabed and chair bed in the living room.

Thanks! What does "dedicated" mean?
It is a booking category. There are two types of 2BR: dedicated, which has two queens in the second bedroom. And lock off, which is a 1BR and a studio that connect. The studio "bedroom" has a queen and a sofabed, plus a kitchenette and its own entry.

So a dedicated has a king in one BR and 2 queens in the other bedroom? And a living area with a kitchen and couch (pullout)?

And a lock off has a 1 BR suite (consisting of ???) And a studio, the latter having a sofabed and a queen and a kitchenette?

Sorry. I don't know how that sent when I wasn't done.

Does the lock off have 2 kitchens then?

Sorry if I sound so thick. I just cant wrap my head around this.

A lock off has a single kitchen. But there is a kitchenette in the second bedroom - sink, toaster, mini fridge and microwave.

A 1BR has a full condo kitchen. Stove, dishwasher, real fridge with freezer. It is a bedroom and a living room area.

A studio is like a hotel room with weird bedding setup and a toaster.

It seems like a dedicated would be more desirable. But maybe a lock off is what she was referring to. Would you happen to have a floor plan of a lock off?

Studio has a kitchenette, a queen, and a double pull out sofa, The 1 bedroom has a full kitchen, living room, pull out sofa, sleeper chair, and bathroom, as well as a master bathroom, and bedroom with a king bedroom,

A 2 bedroom lock off is a 1 bedroom and studio as one unit with the door between them open,

A 2 bedroom is a 1 bedroom with an actual 2nd bedroom, not a studio, so it has 2 queen beds, bathroom, but no kitchenette

Thanks! Do you happen to also have a floor plan for a dedicated 2 bedroom?

....and does a lock-off have laundry?

The laundry is in the 1 bedroom part, yes, Again the 2 bedroom lock off is simply a 1 bedroom and a studio, The term comes from being able to lock off one of the sides,

So there is a door between the two units. When someone books those two units as a 2 bedroom, they unlock the door!

One more difference, Since a 2 bedroom lock off is two units, each will have its own entrance to the outside hallway.

A 2 bedroom dedicated unit does not. There is only one door into the unit.

Think of a lock off as a 1BR villa and a studio connected by an internal door. Anything the studio has, the lock off will have. Anything the 1BR has, the lock off will also have.
So they are the same price?

Do you happen to know which room numbers are TPV 2BR dedicated and 2BR lock off rooms ? If there is a source that you can direct me to I'm happy to research this. I feel I'm asking too many questions..

Dedicated and lock off 2BRs are the same number of points as long as they are the same view.

I don't have a link to a resort map for BLT but touringplans.com has a room locator tool that you can use for finding room numbers for each view. BLT has 32 dedicated and 18 lock off TPV 2BRs.

We have our first trip to BLT coming up next week. Do we check in at BLT or at the Contemporary?
