We just bought into BLT and I was wondering if anyone happens to know what will be seen off the balcony of the standard view rooms? I also heard that there are only a "limited" number of standard view rooms available. Does anyone know the breakdown of room sizes and views that the BLT has? I want to book for Jan 2010 ASAP! Any other valuable information is welcome too!! Thanks, Cindy

:)Hi
I just asked member service what rooms give a bay lake veiw , as yet they do not know but the CM said if you can see the lake it will be day lake view .So we are none the wiser as yet .We have booked for September.

There will be 295 rooms (counting a 2BR lockoff as 1) or 428 potential rooms (counting a 2BR lock-off as 2 rooms, studio and 1BR). 133 are 2Br lock-offs, 148 dedicated 2BRs and 14 GVs. They have said 11% of the rooms will be standard view, 20% MK view and 69% lake view, meaning for standard there will be potentially 32 to 47 rooms amd with 2BR lock-offs being the minority that likely means that there will be under 20 1BRs (possibly under 15) that are standard (same for studios). Disney has not formally announced exactly where the standards will be. Best guess (and any guess right now is unreliable) is that they will be low floor rooms that face the parking lot or the Contemporary building on the outside of the C of the C-shaped building. Whether you can now get a standard for January is unknown but those were going fast for all times including Jan as soon as reservations started in February.

I was told by a CM when I asked that the standard view will be of the parking lot or rooftop.....

Disney tends to classify towards the better view.

If you can see any part of the lake from your balcony, it's a lake view, If you can see any part of the MK, it's a MK view. All the rest will be standard views.
