*** Bay Lake Tower Owners Group***

Are there any theme park view studios (floors/rooms) to try to avoid? Staying next year in tpv for the first time and super excited!
TP rooms are divided into two groups for how good the views are, high floor and low floor. From the higher floor TP rooms, about 7 and above, views are very good of the lake and MK. The lower floor TP rooms are essentially a point rip-off because your main view is of a large parking lot and a monorail track. If you have a TP view reservation, you should make a request for high floor.

Check out touring plans hotel room view finder. I don't think the elevator is particularly loud.
If you have an even ## room, the fireworks at MK are way louder than any other noise from the building. (of course it's only 20-25 min a night.)

When our kids were toddlers they slept right through it. It is loud and shakes the windows.

Thank you so much, very helpful 😊

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere - would you be deterred from staying at BLT during the early 2026 pool refurb? We'd be doing a split stay in late February/early March, likely 4 nights Boardwalk and then maybe 4 nights BLT. We'll have 7 kids with us: 12, 7, 8, 5, 5, 3, and a newborn. Especially with the newborn, we thought the proximity to Magic Kingdom would be a major plus, but I've never been to the main Contemporary pool and wasn't sure how much of a pain it'd be to get to from BLT? Or if we think the pool will be crazy crowded, with 1 being closed?

I'd love to say we wouldn't expect to be spending too much time at the pool at that time of year but with 7 kids, I'm sure we'll have a good amount of pool time regardless - brrrr!!!

Im staying during that time and im seeing it as a good opportunity to try a pool I wouldnt otherwise try.

If it was BCV and the pool was closed, I would feel differently but BLT pool isn't all that impressive for me to feel like im missing much.

Im thinking they CR one may be even better

I’ve never stayed at BLT - walked the CR/BLT grounds after dinner at California Grille. The CR pools certainly aren’t a very far walk. For me, however, I’m personally avoiding booking a BLT stay until the pool is done. That said, when I go, I’ll probably book a full week and my kids would definitely want to try out both pools. I can already see the look on my kids faces if I told them the pool and water slide they can see from their window is closed. But, I do like @Girlstar30’s “glass half full” approach 🙂. That could work too.
