We put a request for refurbished room in January and made sure to ask upon check in and they did give it to us and early check in too. Make sure you check everything is working, we had heater issues after we already unpacked and they had to move us, they said they couldn't fix it because they would have to go into another room that was occupied. They told us it was a common issue with about 50% of the heaters not working

I was there during the freezing week in January and got the flu and spent a few days shivering in the room because the heat didn't work.

Oh no you guys should have requested to move, it is a pain, but they moved us quickly to a room that the heater was working well and gave us a better view

I am the type that always gets the flu and gets covid whenever I go to Disney world or a cruise. This time I took major precautions. I wore a mask on the plane ride, I didn't sleep in the same bed as my spouse who was sick for a few days before we left, I took a z pack before we left, I took emergenc every morning, immunity booster from costco, and these other supplements from France, and then i took paxlovid before our cruise. I am not recommending all this and I realize that doctors say you shouldn't take paxlovid unless you have covid or a z pack unless your sick, but it was the first time I didn't get sick at all

Window seat, mask and coughing should do the trick for them to stay away

My 5 year old cousin was sick and threw up in a Disney popcorn bucket on the way back. The masked woman in her row looked mortified.

I feel like I'm riding something at Universal. Very nauseous watching that but yes dedicated 2 bedroom lake right in the middle of the circle it appears.

Was at CR over the weekend and visited the temporary Community Hall by the CR pool. Frankly hadn't realized it was in a temporary spot until we walked over to BLT and were redirected. FWIW the CMs said they didn't have a date, but some had gotten a walk through of the renovated space so thought it would be 'any day now', again for whatever that is worth.

Sorry if old news already discussed.

And yes, as a PP said above, bridge was still closed.

Did it appear they were finishing up the South tower then in full? Or have they shut down/moved to the top of the North Tower?

Unfortunately couldn't see enough to really get a sense of that. One would assume maybe so, or close, I think??!!

South side of the building, rooms 24 to 44 on floors 7 to 16 are all completed on the refurbishment, read it in Disney Food Blog today
