I had a message today from someone on my friends list telling me that I was an "Ant." So, I went looking for her in her room to find out what she was talking about. She has decided to join the mummy/bay be craze and got two "babies." She introduced me to them as their Ant. :lmao: :scared1:  I got off VMK because I was too stunned to speak coherantly. I will need to let her know that I don't do bay be, taken, etc. and cannot be "Ant" to someone I don't even know. :rotfl:

Oh my goodness...we now have extended families?

That person would be quickly off my friends list...I can't stand those games.

Thankfully, one of my friends asked me about it. I told her that it was very wrong. Thank goodness that I saved her.

While I agree that the bay be thing and ants and that sort of junk are stupid, I would dare say that it is not so traumatic as to render a person too stunned to speak coherantly, and it certainly shouldn't make you feel like you must log off immediately. A bit of an overreaction, IMHO. :rolleyes1

If I was in the same position, I'd get off too. It's not like there some sort of proper etiquette guidebook on how to react if your "friend" introduces you as a relative to their fake computer children. I hardly doubt the OP was traumatized...but it IS an extremely odd situation that probably had her caught off guard...and hence she didn't really know what to say. No reason to knock down her reaction. ;) I'd say her reaction is a LOT more intelligent than the now extended family edition of VMK.

Yeah, people have asked me stuff like that before, it's really awkward. I really dislike it too.

I agree, the whole baby thing is just plain weird. I talked to my daughters friens about it, and suggested she just stick to the games and her friends, and not to get involved with that stuff. When I see "cribs" and beds set up, it sort of creeps me out. :3dglasses

I don't even know why people do it. I mean its just gross. And VMK's a friendly place, everywhere i go boys are "asking" me out. Im like sorry i don't do it or i say yes im taken by yeti! To throw them off than i just say "Taken is just plain wrong!" so thats how i handle it.
