Wondering if battery operated Christmas lights are allowed in the staterooms?
What about on the verandah?
We'll be on the Wonder Dec 23.

Can't say about the veranda but battery operated lights are fine. Just not plug in lights

Nothing is allowed on the verndas at all. You are not even suppose to hang a towel out there.

They don't want the ship to look bad from the outside if people start putting things out there , plus this way it makes sure nothing falls into the water that shouldn't.

This might be one of those time to take the question directly to Disney. I've heard more than once that battery operated was fine but it never hurts to check for specifics.

I think that's mostly for plug in lights. I say that because they allow light up battery operated christmas trees. They also sell them in gifts.
I'm fairly certain that most room hosts will look the other way, if it's evident that the lights are battery-powered. But it doesn't specify that only the actual plug in lights are prohibited, just all
  • Seasonal and/or celebratory light bulb strings
The battery-powered trees offered as part of the gifts have basically been cleared by the chief electrician. Private battery-powered lights haven't been certified as OK to use onboard, unless you clear them with the electrician.
