Battery charger question ...

I have the Rebel XTi and in the process of a super clean of my house (it's on the market) I and/or DH have misplaced the battery charger - it is not in its usual place. Question: can I purchase any lithium battery charger or do I need to purchase one by Canon. Can anyone recommend a place to purchase one? I looked at Circuit City online and didn't seem to see anything. Thank you!

I had an aftermarket battery charger for my BP-511 packs but noticed that it didn't have the two small contacts that the Canon chargers do. I am not sure what those contacts do (charge monitoring, temperature?) but am pretty sure Canon didn't put them there for no reason at all.

Check to see if the charger you are buying is truly equivalent to the original.

Thank you both for your replies and my apologies for not responding sooner! I have purchased a charger that says it is equivilant and for use with the rebelxti but I am still searching for wandering camera charger - I am also checking into the Amazon links!
