Oh my God, we've got a bat flying around our house and it's now trapped in our bedroom - ahhhhhh. Does anyone have any ideas.

I think bats are protected which means that you have to be really careful with it. Maybe you could call an animal welfare place and ask them.

This is common here in PA. I actually thought I had been bitten recently.. :teeth: Hope the poor critter is outside now and safe. Here they can carry rabies so if you come in contact with it they will have to kill it and test it :guilty:
Let us know!

Could you have mistaken it for a giant moth?

Just kidding.

I would have called the RSPCA immediately in your shoes.

I did, but they don't do anything since Bats are protected here. Eventually, it flew out - I HOPE - I have now put netting over my window opening!!! Except it came in through the conservatory :confused3

Do bats carry rabies there? Here we couldn't sleep without a screened window. Believe me, he was more terrified then you!
Glad for what appears to be a good resolution!
:butterfly OK, I couldn't find a bat!
