I thought I would post the new dates for Bat's Day for those of us who go and to warn those who might not otherwise know whats going on. Instead of the summer dates they have had in the past the new dates are Nov. 8th and 9th.
For those who don't know, Bat's Day is an unoffical event where Gothic, Industrial and others who tend to prefer black go to Disneyland. Typically the first day is spent back at a local hotel for shopping, dining and a show, but some go into the parks that day but the main event is Sunday when everyone of all ages heads to Disneyland. Last year the count was 4,500 Bat's.
From the numbers you can see its not a huge group but it does grow every year. Because its unoffical Disney has no information but does do two nice things for the group first a large Group photo in front of the castle in the afternoon and they close the Haunted Manison to none Bat's for about half an hour to 45 minutes so all the Bat's can be counted, photographed and get one ride on the Mansion. Though some sneak by haha
