My aunt's masterbath needs to get remodeled. At least put in a walk in shower and take the tub out. It's actually not much bigger than a standard bathroom, with the tub along the far wall. And tile flooring to be put in, right now it's linoleum.

My aunt would love one of those sit down bathtubs for old people, but I can only imagine how hard that would be to clean it if it's used as an everyday shower. Plus the tubing and cleaning that... Then all the water to fill it.

I had a brilliant idea, remodel both bathrooms. They're back to back and the tubs are side by side. Neither bathroom has a linen closet. Here's a rough sketch, so you don't get lost in words.

Idea would be to replace the second bathroom with a smaller walk-in tub and place a linen cabinet that could be accessed on each side. Like in the second bath, it would be the bottom half, and the top half accessed from the masterbath. This would also mean that a preform surround could not be used.

The second bath is rarely used right now. If the walk-in tub is hardly used it would make it easier to keep clean. That way my aunt would still have a place to relax, and a walk in shower that would be easy to keep clean for everyday use.

She already has issues getting over the side of the tub and is having back surgery this summer. Which gives me about six weeks to do all this. Where the heck do I begin?
