Kind of an odd question, I've looked but can't find the answer. Can you tell from the deck plans whether the bathroom is on the right or the left? I know it's weird, but we have a preference. :)

The bathroom is on either the right or left as you enter any given room. It alternates (so that the shared wall can house the plumbing).

On the deck plans you can see that the wall where the door is is indented every two rooms. That's where the doors to the rooms are. The shared wall between the doors is where the closets are. The shared wall on the other side is where the bathrooms are.

remember, the direction of the flush depends on the location of the ship in relation to the equator. Other than that, I don't get it.
I don't mean to be nosey, but what does bathroom location have to do with anything? Does this transfer over to hotels and/or public restrooms as well?
oh, and btw:
:welcome:

Not on a cruise ship. They use a vacuum system (hence the reason you close the lid first) so it all just goes straight down.

Additionally, there's this: http://www.livescience.com/33567-toilet-swirl-direction-equator.html
