We will be moving into our new home at the end of the month, yeah!!!

The kids bathroom is upstairs, and it is a Hollywood Bath, however, they do not have two seperate sink areas. Just their bedrooms connect to the bath.

So with a boy and a girl they are 3 and 6,how would you do the bathroom? And I would like to do something that would last for a while, nothing too toddler/small child.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I would do a tropical fish theme...they are appropriate for all ages.

i swore i would'nt go with this after 99% of the existing homes we looked at had them :goodvibes we went with just doing a kid oriented shower curtain and art on the walls (we did get a great "rainbow fish" framed print for it though).

I've done our one and only bathroom in Disney! I framed postcards that I've bought while at the parks. If they were strange sizes I centered them on scrapbook paper and put them in frames that fit the paper. I also have been saving the covers of Disney catalogues for years and trimmed them to fit in 8x10 frames and change them with the seasons and holidays. I also cross stitched the castle with tink and had it framed and that is the main focus in the room. Then there are the lithos that come with the movies that are changed periodically. I found a tink shower curtain on sale at Hot Topic but also have a navy curtain with silver and gold stars that I switch (DH gets tired of tink watching him LOL). I've tried to sneak in some of the McD's toys above the light bar and sitting on the ledge of the tub/shower wall (Dory & Nemo are up there).

I was actually coming in here to make a smartaleck comment about painting it brown in case there were any "accidents," but I read this and have to say I like this idea. I would say the only thing I would be concerned about is the humidity in the bathroom after showers/etc.. affecting the framed stuff, but that could be remedied by laminating them first wouldnt it?

Our boys bathroom is done Hawaiian/Surf/Stitch. The boys are older than your kids, but they love it.

I go a great Nani and Stitch litho at WDW and did a little bit of surgery to a surfboard soap dish and a valentine stitch statue so that it looks like stitch is surfing. We got the surfboard because it was cool, but we prefer liquid soaps, so it wasn't getting used. It's not over the top Disney, lol.

Final touch was a few Lilo and Stitch magic towels.

Hmmm me thinks some mother goose portraits, and tick tock clocks to be appropriate.

Just a spoonful of shhhuuuuhhhgaahhh helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way! BWAHAHAHA! :badpc:

I'M THE BOOGEYMAN!

Most of the framed stuff is inexpensive but my DH is HVAC and has installed a powerful exhaust fan.The window and mirror never fog during or after showers any more.
