bathing suit watch 2007

ok, I know, I know...some of you are getting snow, but we are already buying pool stuff and bathing suits here in Southern California! Today, I went on the dreaded yearly bathing suit search! I first stopped at Target to buy some other stuff. I stopped in their bathing suit section just for the heck of it, not really expecting to find something that looks nice AND will look good on me! But what do you know...I pulled one of the rack that I particularly liked, and ventured into the dressing room. Still, I thought there is no way it's going to look ok! But it fit perfectly and didn't make me look like a beached whale! Unless Target has mirrors that fool you. I haven't tried it on at home yet I couldn't believe my good luck!! It normally takes me weeks to find a bathing suit that I am happy with and lots of "I will never go swimming again".

Has anyone else found a bathing suit yet for this year?

Call me crazy but I already bought 4 bikinis from hollister, 2 from Abcercrombie, and 1 from American Eagle.

I just went to Macy's last night to get a couple suits for my trip in 2 WEEKS!! I HATE getting them this early in the season, especially since I still need to drop 10 more pounds, but....I did find to Tankinis made by Nautica that looked nice. Only took me 1/2 hour of trying on suits instead of annual 3 hour dressing room visit!! I guess I'm lucky. Maybe they are making better styles now? Who knows...at least I won't fee uncomfortable sitting around the pool this trip.

I like buying my suits out of Land's End. Only problem I've really had is they look a LOT different on me than they do on the model!!!!

I've been on a bathing suit hunt for weeks now, I'm really picky. I bought a great one last year but it's too big now, so the search continues........

I love Target bathing suits I've already bought 3 or 4 this year. I ordered another suit from Boston Proper that hasn't shipped yet. I'm going to be in the caribbean in a month, and can't wait to put a bathing suit on

I need a new suits every year it seems! I think I wear them out by sitting on the concrete next to the pool at WDW! Sliding in and out of the water that way wears them right out. Plus the chlorine does a number on them too. And of course I just like getting a new one every year! A nice new bathing suit is just what you need on a summer vacation.

Haven't begun the search yet, but soon. Maybe I'll look around today.

I've been buying Land's End separates. Every year I add a piece or two and rotate the tops and bottoms (I make sure they all match when I purchase ) They are a bit pricey, but they sure do last.
