Some of these suits that posters are showing are adorable. However, you need to be quite well-busted to wear them!
What areas are you specifically trying to cover? Bust or butt? Stomach?

People could spend hours showing you the perfect suit........if you are Barbie.

Only one word of warning. I brought 1 target bathing suit September of 2008, it was a great price since it was end of season. I stashed it until last summer and it did not hold up well. The elastic around the back of the suit crapped out after 2 washings (I washed on gentle with cold water). Unfortunately I had problems returning it because I held onto it for 6 months before trying it out.

I haven't purchased any others from target so it may have been a fluke. Just some fyi.

I've been wearing the speedo that I use for swimming laps but don't exactly feel feminine or great it in. Woo hoo for the Dis.

Have you tried an actual swim store or pool retailer. We have a local one that has every suit you can possibly imagine. Many people overlook it, and it has suits year-round!

I am looking for a more modest suit and there doesn't seem to be much out there for someone my size. I am a 0, but feel more comfortable covered up. I still want to look young (I'm 27) and hip too.

Try JCrew.... they have some GORGEOUS one pieces in their line this year that don't look "old" at all (I'm 28, and a size 3.... I'm also ordering a ruched bandeau top one from them) and they're fairly priced. They're very fashionable, but keep you covered. Hope that helps! Good luck in your search.

If you like sporty, I have had good luck with the ZeroXposur line. I have worn them for SCUBA, snorkeling, wakeboarding, and in the pool holding wily toddlers. I have found them at Kohl's and at Burlington Coat Factory.

Some of the tops have adjustable straps and I like the board shorts. They are not too pricey and mix and match well.

I have a skirt bottom and halter tankini top with polka dots from JCPenney for a retro look that is also modest.

Here in Utah, Shade clothing is very popular as it gives a lot of coverage. They recently started a swimwear line, and I have seen lots of girls/moms/teens wearing them. Unfortunately, the line for this summer isn't available quite yet but should be later this month. You can bookmark the page, I guess, and check back later. (The suits I saw last summer were super cute, but alas, I was pregnant and had to wear a maternity suit but not this year )

I was reading this thread because I have been looking for a cute modest suit forever. I loved the limericki.com that was suggested here.

Just a bit of warning. I wear a 10 and maybe an 8 on a good day. I ordered a large top and a large bottom. The bottom would have worked but the top was way tight (and I am not large chested).

I am sending them back for a bigger size, but just wanted to pass the info along. I ordered over the weekend and I got yesterday, so quick shipping. I paid $64 total after using the code JENSWIM.
