has anyone ordered the baskets for your rooms? what are the better ones you have had or would you want?

I had a basket sent to my mom 2 years ago and this past May Shirley from the perfect gift made a wonderful one for my daughter...it was a pail and shovel, a disposible camera, some soda, juice boxes and a whole bunch of treats....she loved it! www.theperfectgift.cc

Hi GA-me again!
I ordered a Fathers Day Gift Basket (which had some kids stuff included in it) from The Perfect Gift (Shirley here on the boards) It included snacks, a bottle of my DH's favorite beverage (Jameson) a towel and was all in a Disney tote bag. I can recommend Shirley highly- the kids and my DH loved it-it was a nice surprise for them all. You tell them about what you want to spend, they ask what you have in mind and make suggestions, and you are all set. Incidentally, I did this just three days before the trip and it was no problem.

Cash surprised me with the Bon Voyage package from the DCL website. The wine was chilled to perfection, easy to open, and a delicious treat (as were the chocolate covered strawberries). I don't know when it all was set up in the stateroom but the petits fours (with some kind of jelled icing) were a little mushy by the time the DCL bus from AKL finally got to PC and I got on board...Next time I think I would prefer tehe chilled wine and some kind of chilled sliced fruit....

There's lots of food being served at the buffet at the same time, too.....

Another thumbs up for Shirley! She did a great basket for my MIL who we were cruising with over Mother's Day in 2003. She included her favorite wine and some wine glasses. She also made a basket for her birthday when my in-laws spent time this past April in Cocoa Beach. Shirley is the best!

Another vote for Shirley! We had her send a basket for DS from Mickey and friends in September, it was awesome! He was so happy and surprised! Shirley is the nicest person to work with too. Everything was personalized to what he liked. She added some special extras for him and asked about additions we wanted. I would definately do it again!

We ordered a basket from Shirley for our cruise last August. When you order from The Perfect Gift you are truly getting a customized basket, not just something from a standard picture or package. She really goes out of her way to help everyone.

If you do it for the kids, ask for snacks, goggles, disposable cameras, sunglasses, fun stuff to be used on the cruise.

Another cheer for Shirley. She put together a very special basket for our DGD last week that far exceeded our expectations!! Emma was thrilled that Mickey and Minnie had something special in our stateroom for her. There were so many snacks that we had plenty while on the cruise and even some to bring home!! The sand toys were great for our Castaway Cay day and I saved room in our suitcase by not having to pack sand toys!!
