question....

I have a small cancerous growth removed under my eye 3/07. Had the Mohls surgery done and everything went fine. Scar is not noticable at all unless I point it out to you.

For the past 3 days I have felt tugging at the scar. There is nothing there. I have been feeling for a lump or anything else and everything appears fine. Skin is not red.

I have had a bit of a stuffy nose. I am wondering if that could cause the tugging feeling? (scar is right where the sinuses are) I am taking some over the counter allergy pills to help with the stuffiness. i do already have my skin check up scheduled for Jan. I will wait to bring it up then since I cannot find any reason (lump, reddness) to try to get in now. (chances are I wouldn't get an appt until close to Christmas anyway...so I will wait.)

I just wanted to know if anyone else has had something like this happen?

Basal cell cancers are slow growing and you probably are OK, but you are worried, and I think you would feel better if you called and discussed it with the doctor. They might tell you to come in early to ease your mind.

Sounds like Voldemort to me.

(you're probably fine. But I'm a hypochondriac and would go get it checked anyway.)
