basic walking directions help?

I took a dining reservation for dinner at The Plaza at 3:15...I didn't think about how this would coincide with the afternoon parade and its too late to change it now. Is there a way to walk from the Pete's Silly Sideshow area to the Plaza without encountering parade crowds?


Second question: If I do make it to this dining reservation, will we have a good view of the parade from there? I'd just consider that a bonus.

I am assuming Pete's Silly Sideshow is in the new Fantasyland. The Plaza is right by the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant. You can cut through there to get to Tomorrowland, and there is a pathway that takes you from Tomorrowland to the Storybook Circus part of Fantasyland. From what I remember, the parade goes down Main Street and around Frontierland, which is on the opposite side of Main Street. (I really wish Robo would use his magical map powers to help me explain this. )

The purple line on the top map below goes through the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (#48) and right by the Plaza Restaurant (#47.)

If you look at the park map you can see the path from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. It starts between the barnstormer and the Fantasyland railroad station and follows the rairoad tracks. If you follow that and then walk through Tomorrowland towards main street, you will walk right by the Plaza.

But be careful that exiting Tomorrowland you walk through the Noodle Station, not along the bridge to the hub. You can't see the path through the Noodle Station on the map. If you try to take the bridge you'll get stuck by the parade on the hub while it passes.

There was a candy trail that it is on the back path from Tommorowland to Storybook Circus, which is the route you will take to be able to get to the Plaza from Storybook Circus while avoiding the Hub. If you look on there, there is a Mickey Halloween head by Space Mountain, right behind the Speedway. If you follow the trail that's shown at the top of that Mickey head, it takes you right to Storybook Circus.

Pro tip: if you want to be right in the middle of the fireworks, literally, with no one around, be along that trail. We ended up there by accident (actually trying to avoid the fireworks) and they were going off right over our heads!
