Basic ADR question

We booked our trip through a travel agent. They tell me that they can make our ADR's, or I can. Is this right? I assume they are, but I don't want to get on the phone at 7 am this Sunday and learn differently. I want to make them myself (so I can change them if needed).

Yes, you can always make ADRs yourself. When you're working with a TA, you can't make changes to your resort reservation, but that's the only thing that's affected. You can make any other reservations that you'd like.
