While i'm on holiday i would like to take a baseball game in ,does anyone know the best place to go and see a game.I am staying in kissimmee.:thumbsup2

We have been to see the above on each of our three visits. Well worth it a great family day out.
Does anyone know if there are any smaller more local games?

What about Disneys Wide World of Sports?
If not they may be able to find you local teams you can see.:thumbsup2

Disney's Wide World of Sports hosts the Atlanta Braves spring training (e.g. pre-season) every year in February and March, so if you're going then, there's a good chance you'll see a lot of different Major League teams.

Other than that, there are a number of A-League (essentially the fourth tier of baseball) teams in the Florida State League who play not too far from Orlando - the Daytona Cubs, the Brevard County Manatees and the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

And if you don't mind travelling to Tampa but don't want to see the Rays (note - they're not called the Devil Rays anymore), they also have an A-League team based there called the Tampa Yankees.

We are going to Tropicana Field (home of the Tampa Bay Rays) to see the Rex Sox play this year! Can't wait!

There used to be a minor league team that played at Wide World of Sport (Orlando Rays) but they moved someplace else a few years ago.

I went to watch them in August 2003 on my birthday :)

This was just the info I was looking for thank you so much!:cool1:

You should definitely take in a Rays game! Me and my kid went to 6(!!) in 6 days on our last trip. We had a great time, there is much more to see and do than just going to a baseball game.

You could also visit St Petes beach during the day (if you are going to a night game - most are, usually only Sunday games are daytime) which is well worth a visit.

I don't know if you're aware, but the season only runs til September (October if they make the post-season), just in case this is going to be outside your holiday.

I'm sure you'll have a great time if you decide to go and see them :thumbsup2

p.s I'll upload some pics of the stadium and post them soon.

Here's some pics from different locations in the park.

And finally, the Press Level on the 3rd base line;

Almost every seat has a great view, but if you go for the top tier i'd try to get near the first row.
