Baseball park in relation to DL

Can anyone tell me how far the Angels ball park is from the DL?

If I can swing it I will there in August to overnight. The Jays are playing the Angels that weekend. Want to see the game on one day (Sunday) and the park(s) the next. Looking to find out how close they are to each other to plan hotels, transportation, etc.

I looked on Maps.com and they seemed fairly close but looking for specifics. A friend says he remembers they were walking distance but he was last there many years ago, before the current park (I believe).

Anyway, your help/input is appreciated.

I would say that they are about 5-10 minutes away by car. I wouldn't exactly call it walking distance, though.

DH and I just returned from CA and actually went to the park and watched the Angels beat the Jays 4 to 2 (Sorry! ) We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn which is almost adjacent to Katella Ave and is within walking distance to DL. I would say we travelled about 8 to 10 minutes on Katella before we came to the stadium. There may be hotels on Katella that are closer to the field that offer free shuttle service to DL if you don't want to rent a car. Have a great trip and I hope your Jays do better for you in September!

5-10 minutes by car is what it looked like on the maps I was checking online but wanted to be sure.

I was planning to stay as close to DL as possible but maybe somewhere in the middle is better, if I can find one.

The Jays have been on a bit of slide lately, but I'm still hopefull for a turn around.
