Baseball Caps/Hats

Okay. I'm going to NYC with my Girlscout troop, and my parents said I probably shouldn't take my straightner, because I don't want to seem 'high maintinence'. So basically, my hair isn't going to look great and I'm going to be wearing a hat alot. And, as an avid Red Sox fan, all I really own for hats are Red Sox caps, and there is no way I am wearing one in NYC, because it would really bug me if someone wore a Yankees hat in Boston, so I don't want to offend anyone.

I'm considering bringing one of those Hollister boys baseball caps, even though I'm a girl, since I find them kind of cute. Any ideas for hats I can wear? All help would be appreciated.

if it only takes you about 15 min. to straighten your hair, I say bring the straightener or put it in a ponytail.

I have very kinky curly hair, so mine is usually in a ponytail or up in a bun.

Yeah I wear my hair in a ponytail almost everyday too, Usually my cow licks and waves in my hair are doing something funky in the morning lmao.

It started out in a pony tail. I put it up in 5th period.

um....a straightener in NYC is not gunna seem high matenience. It is very normal. um...the only hat I have is a Texas Long Horns. so w/e just wear what you want.

The thing is, I have very thick hair so it takes me about 45-60 minutes to straighten my hair. 2hot2touch, I'm going with a girlscout troop and were staying in a kind of girlscout hostile, so its not typical NYC conditions.

I will look into AE hats, or I suppose I can just wear the Red Sox hat, and risk getting flipped off.


Shelby, you have really pretty hair, although it looks like it might be a bit of a pain (one of my friends has thick, curly hair like that, and I have never came out victorious when I try to style it.)

My hair is like Shelby's except 5 times curlier/kinkier. So normally it's just in a ponytail. It takes 2 hours to straighten my hair so I don't even bother.
