Parks will be closing early on our Nov. trip so this seems like a great time to visit resorts we haven't seen and stop in one (or more) of their watering holes for a late brew. We've stayed at AllStar, PO/Riverside and will be at the Dolphin this year. Any suggestions for which resorts and which taverns you'd hit if in our shoes? I'm particularly interested in finding hard to get beers.

Thanks,
Bill From PA

Dont know about the beers(Im a Bud Light girl myself;) ), but I love the atmosphere of the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. Sipping frozen drinks while watching the castle change colors just cant be beat.

There is of course the Crews Cup Lounge at the Yacht Club, but there is also the small little bar just off of the lobby in the Yacht Club. When I stayed there a couple of years ago, they served a very nice ale named Humpback Ale, from Minnesota I think. It was a lot like Bass as I remember, very good and refreshing.

Territory Lounge in the WL.

And there is always the Boardwalk!

Try the lounge at the AKL, they offer a variety of South African beers. Narcooses at the GF has a microbrew that changes seasonally. The Crew's Cup at the YC has a nice selection.

We also enjoy the Tambu Lounge. We can add to the suggestions the Outer Rim at CR and the lounge at the top of the CR (I don't know the current name)
Another nice place is at Downtown Disney.....Captain Jacks has a small margarita bar right on the docks.

Right now we're not able to bar-hop as we used to....but in just a few years our kids will be old enough so we can escape in the evenings for a while. Have fun!

Tambu Lounge is very relaxing and they have a great variety of drinks. Also, the Territory Lounge is nice, but small. The Outer Rim at the CR may be our favorite because of the large, comfortable chairs that overlook the grounds of the Contemporary.

The Grand Floridian has a VERY nice lounge, but I cannot remember the name. We were lucky enough to snag a window seat and watch the water pageant go by.

Hi Bill From PA,

Check out the Crew's Cup Lounge located in the YC next to the Yatchsman Steakhouse. We came across this place a few trips ago and loved it.

I would not recommend the Territory Lounge at the WL. Everything we read said that microbrews and the only thing close they had was Red Hook which you can pick up at any grocery store across the country. And the service was bad.

Mizner's lounge at the GF. Cigar friendly and right behind the band on the second floor of the main building. Very nice!!!

The Tambu Lounge at the Poly
The Crew Cup Lounge at the YC
Big River Grill/Brewery at the BW

My two favorite are Territory Lounge at WL and Crews Cup at YC. Both have some very good beers on tap.

BWV has a relatively unknown lounge on 2nd floor. Usually very quiet. And it's within walking distance to Epcot.

GF, YC and WL are quite good. Poly's one is good if you want a change from MK in a hot afternoon. WL is unusual. AKL's lounge also great (give you a chance just to enjoy the resort). I like CA Grills lounge for its energy, but I usually go there to enjoy the sunset. The dinner crowd is just too loud.

The 2nd floor lounge at the Boardwalk is called the BelleVue Lounge. It's a quiet place with some good tables on the balcony outside, overlooking the courtyard between the BWI and BWV. Inside, there are also game boards built in to some of the tables and the bartender has backgammon, checker, and chess pieces you can use. My wife and I often stop for a beer / Mike's Hard Lemonade and a game of backgammon as we circle around the lake between the BW/YC/BC. It's a great place to bar hop, and you can also grab a big sundae at Beaches and Cream for dessert.

Have fun!
