She definitely meets the height requirements and is a daredevil with everything. She is not afraid of much and very much into climbing up things.

Has anyone had their 2 year old on this ride??

My DD went on it at 2 3/4 and she loved it. She has always been our little dare devil.

My 2 1/2 yo did not like it at all. She cried whole time! She also did not like mickeysphilamagic and buzzlightyear! Her favorites were dumbo, teacups, IASW, the carasol and the cars! :earsgirl:

My son rode at 22 months and enjoyed the ride. He was wide-eyed throughout the ride. But he wanted to go back on after we finished!

We went this June with DS 2 1/2 and DD almost 6. DS wanted to ride it again and DD wouldn't get on it. The only thing we could figure out is that he has not learned to fear anything yet. The ride is so short though, that if they don't like it, it is over quickly!

Mine was 2.5 and loved it. So did the 4 year old. As someone else mentioned it is very, very short. Although, I guess it could seem longer if your child was screaming the whole time.

my little 3 yr old.. hated it.. when we bring up Disney .. she says she is not riding Goofy's ride or Buzz ride... she loves the teacups, merry go round etc.. but not the coaster..

My ds met the height requirement when he was 23 1/2 mos (our last trip) and he enjoyed Barnstormer. After our last trip I did read on the Disney site that there is actually a minimum age requirement of 3yrs as well but they never did ask us about it when we were there (and from the previous posts it doesn't appear many people get asked) so if your dc is tall enough I say go ahead and go for it!

My DS6 loved it when he was 2 3/4. Rode it about 7 times. We're taking DS2 in September, he will probably love it based on his experiences with other rides we've had him on. DS2 turns 3 in October. I think the entire ride is 30 second long. It's REALLY short.

Our son was 2.5 last summer when we went and he really wanted to ride--he watched DH riding with our 5-year-old multiple times, then begged to ride. However, when we got into the ride vehicle DS 2.5 said he still wanted to ride but only if he could sit on my lap (and of course that would have been unsafe and was not allowed). He cried bitterly when we had to climb out and let the ride go on without us! :(
We will try again this year if he wants to.
BTW I love that ride--it's one of my favorites! Short and sweet and just scary enough for me! :)

Thanks. :)

yep she is 36 inches so tall enough. I'm thinking she will love it. She loves going fast on the swings and isn't afraid of heights at all she loves the tallest slides at the park and goes up and slides down herself. :) I think I will send her on with dh or my brother. I'm on the larger side and don't think I'd fit too well.

We took DS on his 2nd birthday. During the ride, he looked as if he didn't quite know what to think but afterwards he wanted to try it again.

Our only problem was the lapbar was tight against me but he was able to slide around everywhere if I didn't hold on to him.

My FIL is a neuroscientist. A lot of neuroscientists believe coasters and other rides that "shake" small children MAY cause brain damage - a minor version of shaken baby syndrome. I wouldn't put a two year old on any coaster - their brain just hasn't "set up" in their heads yet. Barnstormer is very smooth, but its a big little coaster.

Our 2 1/2 yo loved it!! He still talks about it and that was 1 1/2 years ago. We are going in 6 weeks for his 4th Birthday! He freaked out when the moose head on the wall in Bear Country Jamboree started talking (we had to leave right away), but he sure loved that Barnstormer. :)
