Does anyone know of any B & N store coupons that I can get online? There's a book that I want to get at the store. It came out in May and it's STILL not discounted! (unlike Borders where they used to ALWAYS have discounts and coupons!)

I get coupons in my email directly from them. Sometimes they are for ordering online, sometimes they are for using in store. Have you tried signing up for them?

I looked on their site but couldn't find anything to sign up for emails. The guy on the phone said to sign up when I come in but I don't want to pay full price for the book! I would love a 25% or more off coupon to use for the book (or I guess I can buy it on Amazon but I want it NOW! LOL!)

My son is always able to find coupons for Barnes & Noble when he has a book he wants to buy. Try googling "Barnes & Noble coupons". He usually gets either 15 or 20% 0ff one item.

There are plenty of choices to get Barnes and Noble coupons for in-store online. Maybe I can help you out. I've been dealing with coupons for years, so it's kinda easy.

First off, to get many discounts, you need to create a membership for Barnes and Noble (it's simple and you should get members/exclusive coupons for Barnes and Noble via email).

Second, here is what coupon I found (but it's only for members, so you need to become a member there): http://www.barnesandnoble.com/email/print_nav.asp?r=1&pid=44700 - gives you $5 off $50 entire purchase + $8 off DVD's and a lot more coupons.

Ah, here is the link to sign up for emails (it's not really like this). You sign for their membership and then you get emails: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/Membership-Join/379002828 - you should also get a $50 off bonus amount of coupons at sign up.

You could always google to get new Barnes and Noble coupons. My favorites websites are the following:

If you wouldn't mind sharing the name of the book somebody might be able to find it somewhere cheaper for you.

I'm pretty sure they are talking about the Entertainment book for 2012. Aren't they?:flower3:

I can get the book on Amazon for about $14 but I want it NOW so I was going to buy it at B&N

To the previous poster..... $5 off $50??? Might generous, aren't they? And you have to pay them $25 to join??? Insane!! :sad2:

I think I'll just buy it on Amazon and wait for it.

Oh, no, it's not the Entertainment Book. It's Andy Cohen's "Most Talkative" I wanted to read it and then give it to my daughter for some inspiration.

would walmart, target, local grocery store have it?

No, I checked 2 Targets and Wal Mart never carried it (even when it first came out). The grocery store didn't have it and neither did Dollar Tree (believe it or not, they sometimes have newly released books for $1!!)

It's ok..... I bought it on Amazon last night along with another book I wanted. Got both for $28 including tax w/free shipping. Had I gone to Barnes and Noble, I would have paid that for just the one book!!!

If you are any chance a Teacher you can get an Educator's Card. At certain times during the year you can get 25% off anything in the store. During the year you get 20% (I think) on things for your classroom.I used it for a calander once. They questioned me at the reigister and when I siad it was for class they said ok...also they have a Kids Club not sure how this works.

you've bought it now, but did you try your library? If it's just a book you want to read and not a book you want to have, the library is your best bet. And its free.

It's a book I want to read and have. I can't take books out from the library ---- I can't read them in the allotted time. I'm just too busy to read that quickly. I usually get maybe and hour or two on Saturdays to read so it takes me a while. (and I don't like to "speed read" like some people do --- you miss A LOT when you do that!)
