Bare Nesesames

My ds was singing a song to me. I got to listening to him he was singing "It's the bare nesesames....." I said, I think you mean "bare necessities." He kept telling me he was saying that.

I watched The Blues Brothers tonight. He walked in and asked me what I was going to watch, and I said "The Blues Brothers." He said "Do they know Jazz too?"

LOL! I love how kids have their own spin on things.

Must be something in the air, my DS has been singing the bare necessities song too and the words are just not quite the same as I remember.

Kids are so much fun.

Tiggerlover, I think our ds's are about the same age too (mine will be 7 yo next month). Maybe it's an age thing.

Uncle Tony, have you taught Nicky Mouse that song yet?

Yep, they are close, Tyler will be 7 on Wednesday, so maybe it is an age thing. Another thing he does is insists that his way is right because mom couldn't possibly know the right words to the song.

Tyler is 2 weeks and 2 days older than Dakota. I kept telling Dakota it's necessity, and he kept saying "I'm saying nesesame!" I think he thinks I was the one saying it wrong. LOL! I bet they'd do a lovely duet together.

My daughter has been watching Jungle Book 2 since we got it last week. She's 2 and sings bare necessiseas . She broke the Jungle Book 1 dvd and I can't find it anywhere . Are they re-released every 7 years?
