Barcelona - where to stay before cruise

I had a lovely stay at the Alma Barcelona, which is in the area of the Passeig de Gracia, the major shopping street, and several of Gaudi's houses. It's pricey, but worth it.

We have stayed at Hotel Jazz for 3 or 4 nights before two WBTA and after one EBTA cruise. Located near Las Ramblas. Friendly and efficient staff, nice spacious modern rooms, and an excellent breakfast.

In addition to the beautiful sites in Barcelona proper, we have also done a half-day tour to Montserrat that we recommend highly.

So happy to hear this. This is where we are staying in 2 1/2 weeks for our Med cruise. Also doing the half day Montserrat. ;=)
