Barcelona hotel suggestions for 3?

Hello! Myself and 2 friends are embarking on the Transatlantic Sept 6, and we will be getting to Barcelona around 10 pm on the 5th. I am having a hard time finding a room for 3 people. The Renaissance has rooms available, but I can't justify spending $186 each for a room that we will be in for less than 12 hours.

Any suggestions for good hotels? We would like to be near Las Ramblas so we could walk around the next morning before we hop over to the port. Any help is appreciated!
