Hey everyone! Sorry - I know this is the longest trip report in trip report history - i am NOT a slacker I promise! I just don't have any time! I started college two weeks ago and HOLY MOLY - it is insane! I thought I was busy before - I AM TOTALLY insanely busy now! Before I go write my paper though, it is only fair that I finish this thing once and for all! I unfortunately do not have any photos from the last day but I will tell you all about it!!

We woke up on our last day in Disney, as sad as could be. I personally was DEVASTATED. My first trip to Disney was coming to and end! We sullenly dragged ourselves out of bed and made our way downstairs to check our baggage and all that tedious stuff! They actually booked Todd as the wrong person and it was this big fiasco - but finally it was all well and we were set. We headed to Animal Kingdom! We were having breakfast with DONALD!! When we got there, it was so exciting to see the park dead and be able to go in there before everyone! Donald's Breafastasaurus was a really cute place. They take your picture before you are seated, but we didn't buy ours! We were totally ready to eat as quick as possible and SPRINT to Everest for our FINAL RIDE! We ate some great food and met all the characters (I took pictures, but for some reason I cannot find them on my memory card??) there was donald, goofy, pluto, mickey, maybe some others that are slipping my mind! The food was really good - nothing like Park Fare - but I didnt expect it to be!! After our meal, we hurried outside to wait and be able to sprint to Everest. We are the first out there and wait for a little while, when we hear all this hub-bub between the cast members. Todd and I were like, "What is going on?" They came up to us and told us that Everest wasn't WORKING! They said they didn't even think it would be OPEN today! I WAS SO BUMMED! Todd wasn't as effected as me, but still sad. I wanted to cry - MY LAST DAY AND NO EVEREST! The only reason I booked the character meal and paid out of pocket was for my last everest ride! I mean, this was SPECIFICALLY the reeason!! RRRRRRR! So I was totally bummed and we slunk over to Dinosaur which was bittersweet because I was so forlorn! lol Then we went and did Kilimanjaro - it was a morning ride so it ended up being so much better than our other one!! We saw so many animals that we hadn't seen before - so I was beginning to be a little happier - We did the Maharajah Jungle Trek - it WAS AWESOME!!!!! I loved it - we saw these big bats that were the size of my chihuahua with WINGS!! We saw tigers and all sorts of cool animals! We both really enjoyed it! We also loved the cast member who was showing everyone how to find hidden mickeys in the big murals! It was fun! After we got out of there, we had a Mickey ice cream and decided that we wanted to leave Animal Kingdom. The plan was too stay there till 4 PM and then head back to the hotel for our Magical Express ride to the airport. However, we decided to LEAVE Animal Kingdom and head over to one of our favorite places - DOWNTOWN DISNEY!! All we REALLY wanted before we left Disney was one last pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express! We felt rebellious going against my itinerary, and it was fun! We had our pizza - and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! Then we browsed some shops and headed back to the hotel. We said our goodbyes to the hotel - went to the gift shop and blew some last money on stuff we would never use, used up all our snack credits on goodies for home, and headed outside to wait for the Magical Express bus. A half hour later, we were off. I couldn't have been more depressed if I tried but I have to admit - after 11 days I was kind of READY to go home. I missed my dog TERRIBLY and my family as well! I missed my comfy bed and my computer - a part of me missed reality, and a part of me could have stayed there forever. We boarded our plane and headed home - the trip seemed to take forever, and I ended up throwing up when we reached the airport due to some awful turbulance - yuck! It was below zero when we got home and absolutely horrible! I was in capris and a tank top (STUPID ME!) and was absolutely FREEZING waiting for our bus from the airport. We took the Logan Express back to the terminal and my father picked us up and took us home. WE WERE HOME .. and I was SAD - but I basically attacked my dog and then fell into a Disney Depression coma in my bed! lol - The next morning I realized it was over - but hey - ALL THE BETTER TO PLAN ANOTHER TRIP!!!

So that is that friends. It has been an interesting journey writing this trip report - I have made some friends, and unfortunately some enemies. I hope that whoever is still reading enjoyed this trip report. Unfortunately it will be my first and last trip report - but not my last trip to Disney that is for sure!! I can't wait to go back - it is a wonderful and magical place! I learned a lot from the disboards and was able to plan a wonderful trip that I will remember forever. I can't wait to go again! This is the last of my trip report but not the last of what you will hear from me on the boards!!

Update on me: I started college 2 weeks ago - Elementary Ed AND English Major - yep double majoring - still working at the Daycare and also at an Elementary school - volunteering now. I also am still selling picture frames at www.blaynexox.etsy.com and have lost 30 POUNDS!!

Seriously, yours is one of the best TRs I have read, maybe it's b/c of the nature of it, a young couple like us. But I loved it. And you are an awesome writer, and I hate to hear you don't plan on writing again. Please don't let one bad experience ruin it for you, if that's the case. I'm sad that you had problems with people here, I hope that it doesn't ruin your experience with the dis. It's an awesome place and there's so many awesome people here.

I hope everything is going well with you! CONGRATS on 30 pounds! Hang in there with school and work...I completely understand you on that one, I'm in graduate school myself. It's ALOT, and I completely understood how long it took you to finish, it's called LIFE, and it's more important than writing a TR in a certain amount of time. Hi Blayne!

I loved your trip report. It was really great and you really brought your trip to life in your writing. I think you did an excellent job and it sounds like it was such a wonderful trip.

I did not mind waiting for the installments. Youu wrote when you could and didn't just abandon it in the abyss of unfinished reports like some before you have. You have a busy life and so you put your job/family/relationship first and that is what makes you such a great person!

It is too bad that you are not going to write another trip report and I hope that you did not make that decision based on some undeserved and hurtful comments. So many people loved your report so don't let the minority get you down. It is understandbale though if you just don't have the time to write another one.

I wish you luck with your double major. That will be a real challenge but will also be reallt rewarding.

Hi! Thanks - i guess a lot of people thought that it was RIDICULOUS that it took me this long - but I mean - it takes TIME to write a report which I have been severely lacking for the past few months! I am so glad that you enjoyed my TR! I love reading about other young couples as well! I just had some really bad experiences with some people while writing my TR so it just wasn't as enjoyable for me. In fact, I came to dread having to go on the DIS to see what mean things people were writing - so I think that I will just stick to enjoying WDW and we will see if I ever decide to write one again! I will tell you, after some of the cruel comments people left I was REALLY close to joining that abyss of unfinished reports, but I am glad I stuck it out! The pressure is insane - it is DEFINITELY not worth it - some DISers act like this website is the most important thing in the world, I think that is just sad - its cool, but COME ON! lol So I agree with you - WAY to much pressure! Thanks! My mom actually is a hairdresser and she did it! I have naturally curly hair, so it was just loose curling iron curls! Thanks for reading!
