caught up to my post.......
Blayne, you are doing a fabulous job, you have me hooked.

Wow! I love your report so far. You 2 seem like incredibly sweet people. I cannot wait for the next installment of your report!

Oh dear, boys boys boys!! So forgetful!!

Anyway, I just read your whole trip report in 2 hours, and now it's midnight here in Australia and I MUST go to bed!! :coffee:

My fiance and I stayed at Pop in September last year. In the middle of our first night squished together in the same tiny bed, I rolled over and whispered, "I think you should sleep in the other bed." and he did!!! We slept in seperate beds for all of our 7 nights at Disney!!

Not very romantic, but wow, did we sleep much better after that!!! And at Disney, you need sleep!! We laugh about it every time we think of it now!

(And don't you hate it when your hair goes frizzy?! I ended up putting mine up with a hairtie nearly every day at Disney. Yours looks nice and shiny though - no frizz in sight!!)

Thanks for a fun read so far! :)

I can't believe he forgot his key, I would have been a little pissed too :furious: . Wow you really left us hanging, i will be waiting to hear the rest of Valentines day popcorn:: hope it gets better.

Well, count me as a mom reading this living vicariously through you! And I live in Orlando and take my dd2 year old to WDW 3-4 a week! But I can't get enough of your trip report! You guys are so cute! Can't wait to hear about your valentine's day, even with it's "delayed" start (I would have been angry too!).............Great trip report!!!!

Wow 3-4x a WEEK! OMGOSH! THATS AMAZING! Doesn't it cost a fortune? When do you have time to live? Oh my! I would just love to be there all the time. Does it get old though? How fun! Thank you for reading!

awww Blayne your so good waking up early just for us!!!! I hope your day at work isnt too bad! I know what u mean about the breakfast pizza....yuck is right! From now on i stick to the POP waffles. Your matching shirts are soooo cute! Todd is such a good sport and thats so funny about that bagillini "he felt naked without it" That stinks that he forgot his key but atleast he remembered before the park actually opened so you had time to go back. I swear what would guys do with out us girls. haha I hope your valentines day wasnt ruined I cant wait to read more!!

haha thanks! My day at work was HORRIBLE as usual! The breakfast pizza was terrible, BUT your right, the Pop waffles (as you'll see in my trippie as we go one) were absolutely amazing!! Yummy! Haha Todd loved those matching shirts just as much as me. We did have time to go back and .. well.. I guess you'll see how the day goes shortly!

You guys are so so cute together. Leave it to a man to forget something, even after you ask them if they have everything they need.(at least in our home thats what its like). Thanks for getting up extra early to write this and give us all our fix. Problem is, I dont know how long I can wait for the next part as you have left us hangin here. WHERE IS TODD!!!!WHATS TAKING HIM SO LONG!!!As Im sure you have figured out I am a very impatient person so if you could maybe pull an all-niter, possibly go to school late tomorrow, or call in sick to work and get the next part out to us that would be SO great.
PS...Im sure Todd makes this little boo-boo up to you and that is going to make for some great.I CANT WAIT!!!
You are doing so great writing this, your style is so funny and witty, I love it. Also, LOVE the pics. Keep it all coming.

Thank you! I know jeeze, men! Haha, I actually didn't go to school at all today so I guess you got your wish! I'll be posting a new installment right after I reply to everyone! Thank you so much for your compliments and for reading!!

Never trust a man if he says he's got everything... I once had to pay a visit to the reception of a hotel in my wet bathing suit because my boyfriend said he brought the key of our room to the swimming pool.... but ofcourse he left it inside the room. After that incident, I always check if we have the essentials myself ;) BTW, I love your trip report so far. I just started my first English written pre trip report myself

I know I know! I didn't trust him on it for the rest of the vaca, I made him physically show the keys to me every time! Thanks for reading!! Send me a link to your pretrippie so I can check it out!

I must say your trip report is addictive!!! I am at work with my eyes glued to the computer hoping no one is looking over my shoulder. You guys make a cute couple and take wonderful photos together. I'm still trying to talk dear husband into a trip this december, hence the already made ticker Well my birthday is in 4 days and I am hoping that it will be a surprise. Okay a girl can dream right. Anyways enough about me, I am waiting for some more of your wonderful report. Post soon!!!

Yay! I love that its addictive. I've said those same words a million times to other people in the past, so its an honor to hear them from people about MY trip report! I hope you get to go in December! We've decided that we're going back in January of next year! Happy birthday by the way! Thanks for reading!

Ooo the suspense is killing me! I MUST know what happens, doesnt sound like a magical morning, but I am hoping things will start looking up. I can so relate to the overdramatic reaction you had to Todd not having his key; when at Disney we just picture everything PERFECT and when it doesnt go that way we freak out Well, I will be axiously waiting another update!! Keep it coming, this TR is addicting!

Haha! Well, you'll find out soon enough what happens! Your right, I pictured my first park day to be perfect and you'll see later on if it turned out that way, but I did react poorly. Thanks for reading!

EEE! An update! I've had my daily fix...feeling better already.
I'd of been upset too about the key--here's to hoping it didn't ruin the rest of the day!

Hi! Im glad I could give you your fix! More to come asap!

That is the very reason I never let my dh have control of his ticket! We would never get anywhere because he would forget it.

Haha! Your the smart one! I just didn't want to hold that damn backpack!!

I can't believe he forgot the key!!! Hurry and write more!!!

RRR! I know. Boy was I ANGRY!

Ooh - what a horrible tease! To be able to see Epcot but for him to not have his key.Very cute pics - love your shirts! My son thought your kissy face picture was cute. Thanks for the update, can't wait to hear more!

I know, it was horrible! We were the FIRST people in line. RRRR! OOH soo how old is you son... ? Just kidding Im a happily taken woman! haha Thanks for reading!

I got the breakfast wrap too...the tortilla was stale and VERY crunchy! LOL
I forgot my ticket one morning when we were at the MK and had ressies at Crystal Palace for breakfast...oopsie! The CM overheard me whining about having to go back and he told me to go to guest services to get a temporary replacement just for the day. I was glad that I did not have to go back to Pop to get my card! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your Valentine's Day!:

YUCK, BREAKFAST WRAP! Grosss. Im glad that they were able to give you a replacement card! Thanks for reading!

Way to keep us in suspense!!!

haha I know. Im evil .. right?!

WOW soo fun - happy I found this thread - this will be our 1st trip to Disney in May of 08 and we ae SUPER excited... Cant wait to read more....

Im glad you found this thread too! First trips are the best, I'll always remember this one! Thanks for reading!

Hurry back from work! We need you here more than they need you!!!! Where's Todd???? I mean, how long could it take him if he's truly sprinting to the room! Ahhh!!!!! Hurry back--- gotta catch that bus back to Epcot!

Yuck I hate work. Im updating asap! Thanks for reading!

WHAT? He forgot his key, that gives you rights from here on to make him double check and he can't get mad, just say umm Epcot! ;) If I were rich instead of beautiful, :cutie: I would pay you to stay home from work and just write your trip report. you and Todd are cuties. I love the pictures, can't wait for more. BTW, I hope you do get the day care job

Haha! I know, I did al lthe rest of the vacation! OOH.. I would love for someone to pay me to write this trip report. I promise .. it would be A LOT better then it is! I would just make up so dramatic things! Thanks for reading.. and I hope I get this daycare job too!

Thanks for the update :)

Your welcome!!

What an AWESOME trip report!!!:thumbsup2 You are the cutest couple and I'm dying to read more!!!:woohoo:

Hi and thank you!! I will update asap!

Now you have SO many fans! I want MORE of your TR but we all understand you are very busy. You sound way busier than I am, and I'm in law school! You are so motivated and hardworking - school plus working that many hours must be very tough. Hang in there with your crappy job. I hope you get the new one!!

Hey CriminyCrafft! I love these fans, they make me blush! haha I doubt Im busier then you! BELIEVE ME! Im not. Your in law school - you are MUCH busier then little high school student ME! My job isn't important, yours is! lol School is easy, its the working I dont like much! haha Yuck I hate my job though, I've been hanging for way too long. I really hope I get this new one. Thanks for reading and for your kind words!!

OMGOSH I cant believe he forgot the bleeping key!! What kind of bone head leaves his key in the room!........I did:rolleyes1 OMG I was sooo mad at myself it wasnt funnY. Reading your report is like an episode of Soap( a really old show) I LOVE IT!! Keep the dirt coming!
Nettii

I know! What a bone head! Oh wait .. so you a bone head too! haha! I'll keep the dirt coming, dont worry!

Subbing....Love the TR so far.... :) Nice Job.

Thank you!!

Just got caught up good trip report so far can't wait to read more! Forgetting his key sounds like something my DH would do.:rotfl: I love reading trip reports makes me feel like I am there. Yours will be extra special because it is your first trip! Though you will find every trip to Disney is special.pixiedust:

Thank you. I love reading trip reports too. Its much funner then writing them! Just kidding, I like writing it too. Thanks so much for reading!

That's why when my DBF and I go in August I will be holding onto his key! He can't even keep up with his drivers license so there is no way I am trusting him to keep up with the key! Can't wait to read more! :)

Haha! You should definitely hold onto the key or else check it EVERYTIME you go out. Its crucial!

Oh no! Sorry your perfect V-Day started off so crazy! That's one thing I love about having an AP- if I forget my pass, guest services will print me a new one! Can't wait to hear about the rest of the day!

Hi Poly Princess! You lucky duck with an AP. I wish I had one!!

This is sooo totally me-having the fit that is. DH is anal about checking and rechecking that he has everything. He insists on holding all keys. Maybe this is not such a good idea...:lmao: Thanks again Blayne!;) :rotfl2:

HOLD THE KEYS! Im telling you! Or else you'll have to have a "forgot your key scare" in order to make sure he remembers them. Unless your DH is fantastic and truly rechecks everything. THen I give him major props! Thanks for reading!

I can't believe you left us hanging!
I know your morning started out bad, but I bet the rest of the day HAD to be wonderful. I can't wait to hear about it!

I know, im evil! You'll just have to wait and see how it turned out!! Thanks for reading!

Great installment! I love all the pics.
Don't keep up in suspense for too long. Good luck getting a new job, I know working at one you hate really sucks.

Thank you! Oh well. I've hated all my jobs so far, maybe I will find one that works for me! Thanks for reading!

:scared: Can't wait to hear how the rest of the day went!!:hyper:

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for a fun read so far! :)

Hi aussieangel! Ya I know, those boys! Wow Im honored that you spent 2 hours on my trip report! I know EXACTLY what you mean about POP. My boyfriend said the exact same thing, that he wanted to sleep in different beds because ours was too small and I got so angry! haha The small bed ended up being fine, it worked out in the end! Yuck I hate when my hair goes frizzy! In the summer it USUALLY does because I have EXTREMELY curly hair. Oh well! Thanks for reading!!

Hi Blayne! :wave2: boys....humph! I live with 3 and can tell you they forget EVERYTHING!! :rotfl:
can't wait to hear more! my 5 year old is loving your pictures!! he saw the epcot ball and was jumping with JOY!! :mickeyjum

Of course Todd showed up just as the filled up bus pulled out of the Pop Century parking lot. He was panting and had his hand on his heart and looked quite ridiculous and rather cute. I was still pissed and didn't talk to him, but secretly I thought he was rather cute standing there panting and palpitating. He had honestly ran as hard as he could. If he could have begged :worship: for my forgiveness he probably would have, but I was still upset at him. While we waited for the next Epcot bus, he continued to try to win my affection back by saying all sorts of cute things. I stood my ground though. I can be a tough chick when I want to be :moped:. Eventually on the bus ride back, I cracked and we started having fun again. When we got to Epcot though, and I saw all those people, I got angry again! Well, we could have been some of the first people to be in there! RRR! Now we DEFINITELY wouldn't be first, not even close. Even to get through bag check, there was a mile long line. Thankfully the security guard remembered us and let us go through. Though he DID ask why we were back and I just kind of glared at poor Todd in reply. As we walked through the gates into Epcot, my anger ceased. I was nervous that we wouldn't get on any rides, so I immediately walked as fast as I could with Todd in tow to the Land to ride Soarin'. I'd studied enough maps to just know my way around. We grabbed fastpasses before we went into the ride. Let me tell you there was NO wait at Soarin'. We maybe waited about 5 minutes, but that was just to be put into our spots. I was so excited about Soarin' because I had heard so much about it. I was very excited when we got in our spots, but they stuck us in B3 so I knew we would have feet in front of us. When we sat down I immediately realized how close we were to the other people on the ride. Basically on top of them, which meant that I couldn't hold on with both hands. I did NOT like that! Yes, I will admit, I WAS SCARED on Soarin'. Im pretty much nervous on every ride where I don't know what to expect. Im not sure what I thought, but I didn't know that you would go so high up into the air. I think that was the only part that got to me was the going up and then going back down when it was over. Todd and I didnt see the hype about it. It was okay, but definitely not the "best" ride as so many people have claimed. Sometimes the DisBoard can be misleading! Fancy that! ;) After we got off Soarin', there was no wait for Living with Land so we hopped on that. We got the very front seat. This may sound corny, but I loved this ride. I LOVED it! I thought it was fascinating! I loved going through the greenhouses and seeing the aquariums. Everything about it was fascinating. When we got off Living with the Land, our fastpasses for Soarin' were good. Todd didn't want to go on becaues he hadn't liked it the first time, but we went anyways. Because thats the type of guy he is ::yes:: ! This time we got the C1 so there was no feet. I got the end so I didnt have to touch anyone and could hold on to both Todds bar and mine, so I wasn't as nervous. Okay, I admit I was a LITTLE nervous, but that was about it. I liked it better the second time, the smells were my favorite part and I liked the end with the fireworks. When we got out, we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and Friends to ride the Nemo ride, but the line was pretty long, so we decided to go over to the Imagination Pavillion. :offtopic: Let me say (and Im sure I will repeat it A LOT over this trip report) we had INSANELY perfect timing throughout the whole trip. When we were done with one ride, it was the perfect time for another, after that it would be the perfect time for a show to start .. everything was perfect. It was like we were in sync with Disney schedules or something. When we headed over to Imagination, we had about a 5 minute wait until Honey I Shrunk the Audience was to begin. We walked in and were confused when they had us wait in a dark room for nearly 15 minutes. Finally they begun to show up a 10 minute long Kodak commercial. Everyone was getting very angry :furious: and I was getting bored. No one was sure what was going on, I feel that they should definitely change that. When we finally went in to see the show, we didn't really like it. I was expecting something totally different I guess. Im not sure WHAT I was expecting, I guess I'd just seen so many commercials of the little people sitting in the chairs, that I felt that I would really become little? Im not sure, but at any rate, it wasn't that great. As we left the theater, I was disappointed. But I was still optimistic so we went over to ride Figment. We walked right on and the ride was cute. I really liked the detail in Figment's upside down house. Todd thought it was cute too. After, we went to play in the Kodak picture place. We didn't get our picture taken on the big camera because I was having a TERRIBLE hair day by now and had thrown my hair up into a yucky ponytail. We did however take a picture in one of the little mini labs

epcot-imaginationpavillion.jpg

After that, we headed into the sunshine - it turned into a GORGEOUS day! Beautiful and sunny :beach: ! We were very happy. A gorgeous valentine's day just for us! I spotted Club Cool and headed over, formulating my master plan in my mind as to how I would trick Toddy. Turned out it was much easier then any other prank I've ever played on him. You see, over the course of the past 2 days, I had continuously mentioned the disboard in conversation. For example, "Ooh, lets go in here, it was GREATLY recommended by people on the dis" or something along the lines of "Lets get a snack here, the dis has given it great reviews" and all my choices have been spot on. SO! When we got into Club Cool, I immediately made my way over to the drink machine and poured Todd a CUP FULL of the Beverly INSISTING that the "disboard" had rated it the best out of all the other sodas.

IMG_2426.jpg

Well my poor innocent little Todd who trusts me so much and is EVER so thirsty, takes the cup from me in complete compliance. Notice the look of innocent interest on his face as he takes a nice BIG GULP!

IMG_2424.jpg

And notice his expression after - Oh man it was PERFECT!

IMG_2425.jpg

He is a good sport though and wasn't mad, although I did try a little sip ALSO to be a good sport. After we tried them all, I don't think I would really ever drink any of those. I'll stick to water and diet coke thank you! It was a cute place though and we had fun and a good laugh! :rotfl: After we left, we headed over to Test Track and grabbed fast passes. They were for a little over an hour later, so we headed over to Mission Space. Now out of all the rides there, I was the MOST nervous about this one. Yes, I have heard that people have died on the ride, but is that what made me nervous? Of course not! Im fearless. What made me nervous is getting sick and ruining the rest of my day. Well my fears were DEFINITELY justifiable! Before we went into Mission Space an extremely rude CM asked if we wanted Orange or Green. Well I wanted the non spinning, but I thought Todd might call me a baby, but turns out he wanted non spinning too. Just as we were about to ASK for non spinning, these people behind us convinced the CM that we wanted spinning, so she gave us the card and walked away. I was annoyed, and glared at the obnoxious people. Todd and I didn't want to chicken out though, so we got in line. We only waited about 10 minutes, but it was 10 minutes of sheer nerves. When we got on, I was the navigator and Todd was the pilot? I think? Whatever is next to the navigator! The two other members of our crew did not speak a word of English and were not friendly whatsoever. Todd and I didn't care though. As I was stepping into the torture chamber, err I mean the space ship, I put my hand down on some red gooey stuff. I got so nervous that it was blood (it was really oil from where they oiled the ride) that I did what any good Disney goer would do and wiped it on one of the seats of our crewmates. No one ever said I was nice did they? I waited for the ride to start and worried about the fear of contracting aids from the blood (oil) I had just touched. When it did start I was fine. I was thinking "La de da, this is fine. Im flying through space." 2 minutes later, I was basically green and thought my head may possibly fall off and land in Todd's lap. I wasn't worried about aids anymore, I was just worried about exploding in this ride and covering my teammates with my insides. Sorry that was bit graphic, but it was true! I listened to what the instructor had said at the beginning of the ride, to just keep your head back if your feeling disoriented. I was feeling disoriented all right! I put my head back in my seat and prayed for it to be over. When it was finally over, I stumbled out of that horrible contraption and dizzily limped my way towards the exit. Todd was saying beside me "Jeeze your Dad really hyped that up more then he should. That wasn't that great, blah blah blah." And I just stared at him :crazy2: green and sick and woozy. We walked right through the space control center at the end because I was way to nauseous to do ANYTHING. When we got into the sunlight and fresh air, I became a little bit better and figured we could head over to Ellen's Energy Adventure. We were in perfect time, but it was definitely a bad idea. Never go on a 45 minute ride with no way out right after you've gone on a ride that has made you want to vomit all over Disney. BAD IDEA! The ride was cute, I liked the dinosaurs, but the huge movie screen was making me even sicker and I basically just closed my eyes and rested on Todd's shoulder. Todd fell asleep anyways, so he didn't mind. After the longest 45 minutes of my life, I stumbled to the nearest bathroom and tossed my cookies! Not pleasant. Not really that fun to do either in a Disney bathroom that a bajillion people in it. Nope, not the funnest point of the trip, but after I felt MUCH MUCH better!

After that, we went to Test Track because our fastpasses were good.

IMG_2433.jpg

I loved the queue line for this ride! The theming is fantastic! We didn't wait long at all and got the front of the car! We were very excited. However, as we were just about to zoom off, they experienced technical difficulties and our cute little car stopped. That was okay though because we just took some pictures

IMG_2431.jpg

Before long, we were off and boy was that a fun ride! My favorite part was when we went outside and went fast. I know it wasn't really that fast, but it was fun! I loved it! At this point in our trip however, we did not have a photopass card and at this point I also was not sure how to get one so we just by passed the picture - it was horrible anyways and we went into the car showroom. It was pretty cool, I liked some of those cars, but I don't really like GM.

IMG_2432.jpg

After we left Test Track, we were giddy! It was sunny out and in the 70's, we were in Florida, we had just gone on a great ride, and it was VALENTINE'S DAY! We realized that we were STARVING, me because I hadn't eaten breakfast and had also just rid myself of my stomach contents and Todd because well, Todd is ALWAYS hungry. We headed over to the Electric Umbrella. As much as I wanted to try something different and Disney-like, the thing I wanted most at this current moment was a nice CHEESEBURGER. So Todd and I got 2 double cheeseburgers with fries and I got a brownie and he got a cookie. We hit up the toppings bar for loads of pickles as well!

IMG_2434.jpg

IMG_2435.jpg

We went to sit upstairs and sat in a balcony seat overlooking MouseGears. It was a great spot to people watch and the food was delicious! The cheeseburgers were so good. Probably because we were starving, but I loved them. I called my mom at this point to check in and tell my family all about my day so far. It was then that my mom told me that they were basically snowed in in Boston and school had been cancelled for the day. I was a brat and told them about how sunny, hot, and beautiful it was down here! I was so excited though because this meant that I only missed 3 days of school instead of 4!

After lunch we headed over to the Imagination Pavillion. WE LOVED THIS PAVILLION! Todd had a blast and so did I!

IMG_2444.jpg

Todd and I are very competitive and like to win at everything we do. We were a team for most of the games and always won. Our three favorite things were the Pizza Game, the Firehouse, and the Robot game. In the Pizza Game, we had to match up ingredients in different states to make a pizza. Our host was from Boston as well and we talked a lot. He was very sweet. Of course we won the pizza game thanks to my fantastic memory skills! After we went into the firehouse. We were on the team the Searchwells. We had to point our lasers at different fire hazards in different rooms and eliminate them. That was tons of fun, we won that as well! The Robot game was in the other imagination pavillion and we got to design and race our own robots. I was almost positive that Todd would beat everyone, but would you believe who won? ME! I won!! I was so pumped. Todds usually the best at all that athletic stuff, so I was VERY proud of myself! Here I am redfaced and happy reminding Todd "I won!"

IMG_2447.jpg

After this we headed over to Nemo.

IMG_2437.jpg

IMG_2438.jpg

Man is that queue long! I thought that people were exaggerating when they said it took them 10 minutes just to WALK down to the ride. Oh they weren't exaggerating, if anything if was longer then 10 minutes! Holy Moly! This line was HUGE! We kept thinking that the ride would be around this corner, then THAT corner, but nope it took us forever to get there. When we sat in our clamshell I was SO excited! Finding Nemo is my favorite Disney movie. I just can't get enough of it. I think its absolutely adorable! I really enjoyed the ride, except some of my nausea came back during the EAC swimming segment. After the ride we went to see all the amazing sea creatures. I loved the dolphin and the sea cows. We took pictures in the picture area, I was disappointed that I couldn't take a picture in Bruce's mouth though, there were just a lot of people waiting and I didn't want to waste the time.

Geez...I'm sorry to hear about Mission Space. I haven't been on it, but I've been contemplating riding it in June when we go. After reading your report though....I'm not so sure. :confused3

I love all of your pictures! You look so much better at Disney than I do; I'm always such a sweaty mess. Blech. :crazy2: What's your secret to looking so great in the parks? You lucky duck.

Finish the day up at Epcot. I can't wait!

IMG_2425.jpg

:rotfl: This is the best!
I tried to sneaky with my husband too except he LIKED Beverly! He is a freak.

I am glad you all had a great time at Epcot! Next to the MK that is my favorite park! I am sorry that you got woozy on Mission:Space.

You two look so cute in those matching red Disney World tees! I am kicking myself for not doing a matching shirt-thingy with my family! There is always next time!

Great update! I look forward to more!:goodvibes

BTW-You are VERY photogenic! I am jealous!

Ok, now I have definetly decided to ride the non-spinning version of Mission Space! I don't usually have problems with rides (especially not Disney rides) but that sounds pretty intense. I'm so glad it didn't ruin your whole day! Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

We explored the fish a little more. Those aquariums are beautiful, but believe it or not THIS was making me dizzy as well. Damn Mission Space! Ruined everything! Oh well. I was too happy to be miserable! We went into the gift shop and I was dieing to get a shirt that had nemo or squirt on it and had "The Seas with Nemo and Friends Disney World" on it, but they only put that on the kids shirts. We noticed this at a lot of ride gift shops. That the ride and Disney World is only printed on the child sizes. I thought that was pretty dumb and a bummer, but that was alright. When we left the Seas, we only had a little while until dinner so I suggested we go on Spaceship Earth. Once again there was NO WAIT! We barely waited for ANYTHING all day. We were siked! Can I just tell you that I seem to LOVE all the rides that everyone else doesn't! I was FASCINATED with this ride and loved it, plus it was dark, cool, and relaxing. I loved the animatronics and I just loved everything about it. I thought it was very interesting and kind of romantic in those dark carts :scratchin .. haha! Anyways, I really liked it. Todd didn't mind as long as I was happy. He listened and relaxed. I think he just liked looking at my face which was in a constant "0" throughout the whole trip. Its not my fault, I was just ever so fascinated by all the magic! pixiedust: After the ride, it was time for our Valentine's Dinner. By this time we were hungry again. We headed over to the Coral Reef.

IMG_2446.jpg

When we got there, we checked in and I asked for a tankside seat. We were seated fairly quickly considering our request. The staff was VERY nice and they seated us at a lovely table. The hostess told us that there was usually a lot of action near our side of the tank. This made me VVVEERRRY happy because I was fascinated with that tank. Todd and I spent most of dinner just staring at it!

IMG_2450.jpg

Our waiter was very nice and came over and brought us our menus and bread.

IMG_2469.jpg

This bread was VERY yummy. Yum yum yum! Todd and I looked over our menus. At home I had decided to get the Lobster Bisque and Todd planned on getting that as well, but at the last moment I decided on the soufle' and Todd decided on the crab legs. I was very shocked at this because Todd has never eaten crab and isn't that adventurous. But he told "I wanted to try something new!" Okay! If he says so! While we waited for the appetizers, some scuba divers came by our side of the tank and the instructor swam over to my side of the tank and pointed at me. I waved, and he pointed at me and Todd and gestured to ask if we were together. I nodded yes. He shook his head and pointed at himself and then me and blew me a kiss. It was very funny and our neighbors next to us were entertained as well. Todd made a gesture to say "shes all mine" and the instructor waved and swam away. At this point, we got our appetizers.

They LOOKED pretty good. The first thing Todd said when he took a bite of his was .. "Yuck, its COLD." At which I just shook my head and said "Well yes Todd, its crab!" He was pouty and said he hadnt known, but he was a good sport and ate a little more. I tried it and honestly didn't like it, the sauce it came in was strange. My souffle was okay. It was different, but it was edible. The whole time we had been eating, we had acquired a new friend who sat next to us throughout the WHOLE dinner. The huge sea turtle had come over right next to our table and lay down there. He slept next to us the whole time we ate dinner. Here is a movie of him :

We both ordered the NewYork Strip Steak as our entree.

It was pretty good. I loved the potatoes it came with. Todd really liked it as well. I was pretty full though and wanted to save room for dessert so I only ate half of it. During dinner we stared at the tank and discussed our day and how wonderful it had been. It was a very romantic dinner and I couldn't have picked a better setting then Coral Reef. It was just so romantic and the ambiance was great.

For dessert we both ordered the Chocolate Wave

Yum! It was so delicious. It really hit the spot and we both enjoyed it. After dinner, our waiter took a picture of us by the tank. My camera was being strange with the tank, but I kind of like the way it came out.

We said goodbye to our friend the sea turtle and left. We were both absolutely stuffed and could barely walk. I was disappointed that we hadn't made it around World Showcase today, so I suggested that we walk off dinner and take a stroll around World Showcase. We made it as far as Canada and realized we didn't want to go any further! I had really wanted to stay for Illuminations, but I was just so exhausted. We did play around in Canada for awhile though.

Then I noticed that Off Kilter would be playing in 15 minutes, so we parked it in the very front row and waited. I had heard so much good stuff from the disboard and from my friend Nicole who loves them. I was really excited to hear them, Todd however was a little skeptical about it. "Why are we waiting here again?" "These people wear kilts?" I assured him that they were good and he listened. I'd been right about everything else so far. However, I had no idea what to expect from them. Finally they came out in their kilts - this picture is dark I know - I apologize

They were fanastic! Todd and I loved them!! We were jammin! They were really really good and I was sad when the show ended. We were exhausted though and dragged our bodies to the exit. We had had such a great first park day and the best valentine's day yet!

When we got back to the hotel we crashed! This little guy was waiting for us as well -

He was our one and only towel animal of the whole week. Im almost positive it is because we didn't tip!! ;) We were very tired and just crawled into bed and were out! I couldn't believe how much we did in two days! We had 9 more to go, so much stuff was awaiting us! We went to bed happy and excited!

Hey!

I'm joining the party late but had to post because I'm loving your trip report! Especially the pics - it really adds to it. Anyway, I know this was your 1st trip but you guys are acting like Disney Vets! :thumbsup2 Can't wait for more!

P.S. For the longest time I was reading this and thinking your screenname was Blayne Rox not xox! :rotfl2: I'm sure you do rock, but I thought it was pretty funny when I finally realized my mistake.

Sounds like you two are having a great trip so far :goodvibes

I am so sorry about the Mission Space incident :( That's so annoying that those people behind you pressured you to go on the spinning version. I have never gone on MS and never will! The thought of it just makes me naseous :crazy2:

Can't wait to hear more :listen:

What a wonderful day! I'm so sorry you got sick from Mission Space. I did the spinning version with my kids twice before they added the non-spinning side, and though I didn't get sick, I really didn't feel very well for about a half hour after. This past trip we did the non-spinning side and it was MUCH better! The ride was still fun but no yucky feeling after!

Keep up the good work!

i'm sorry but reading about your mission space adventure had me :lmao: :rotfl: . I have a sick sense of humor I guess, but I'm sure it was not funny at the time. I never ride Mission Space:crazy2: , I let DH go and take the kids to play in the cars or color in the store. Loved reading about your first full day at Epcot, it was entertaining.

Oh Blayne...what a terrific Valentine's Day! You know I have been waiting to hear all about this day for MONTHS!! ;) So I am glad you got it up!

First, that picture of Todd and the Beverly....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:
Just what he deserved after forgetting his park ticket (naughty NAUGHTY boy).

You handled yourself better then I would have...I imagine I would have stomped my way in to Epcot to enjoy it alone while I made him take the ride of shame back to POP himself. :rotfl: I am impressed with your sweetness!! And being as you only shot him looks that could kill instead of actually hurting him :duck: ...I think you should be deemed a saint! ;)

You poor thing...you rode the "non wimp" version! UGH! :crazy2: Sounds like that will NOT be on your list for the future. I am glad you felt better after your bathroom cookie tossing incident!

I cannot wait to ride the Nemo ride myself!! Only a few more months (okay, 6 is actually more then a few...but if I wanna pretend in my own head...well, then no harm, no foul::yes:: ).

Oh the lobster bisque...next time, get the lobster bisque! ;) I am so glad you guys had such a romantic dinner there!! :flower3: You two totally deserve it!

Keep it up!:hourglass

Sorry to hear you had such a disgusting breakfast at Pop! I have their oatmeal every morning that I'm there and love it. Hurry back with more.:)

Yay! Loved reading the latest update!!!! MS is kinda insulting when you go on the orange version and the first think you see are the puke bags... A little intimidating!

I've done it once and don't ever need to do it again. We didn't get sick, but it just wasn't that fun....

Love your coral reef pictures! Sounds like yall had a great V-Day dinner!
